Hmm. When I fought that monster she never got hit. I didn't even tell her to stand still so she ran around after me, but still didn't get hit. Or she did get hit but didn't loose any health.
I'm glad I didn't have the problem you describe, it must be a pain.

I was trying to have more fun with this game and actually trade goods to make money when I realized that trading is totally broken in this game. If a trader has the max amount of one product you can buy all of it (with buy all option) at the cheapest price. Then go right back and sell all to the same trader for a huge profit then repeat. You can do this with any trader in any of the towns. Can't believe this was not caught as a huge bug. Makes playing all those card games a joke when you can turn 5k into 150k in just a few clicks.
Did this bug exist in the xbox version?

No it totally didnt.. the more of something you bought from someone the more expensive it became. The more of something you sold to someone the less they paid you for each one. By using the Buy All and Sell All options it did all of this price adjusting automatically so no profit would be made.
Sounds like another preview copy bug by the sounds of it.

I will say this game is feeling more and more like a final beta rather than retail.
I think Im gunna have to play through the retail version when released...
I mean, my fuckin wait command doesnt work at all...well, worked once i think
Anyone else have this problem? Wait command fuckin up? not working and shit? if so, know how to fix it?

huh, I never had a problem with the mother dying. She did follow me though, just never got hit. Did you use the trainer or something before you do the mission? Because I used the trainer on a new game and random shit started screwing up sometimes. Try the one hit kill on the boss if you haven't already...or...maybe you could use that slow time spell (fully upgraded) and kill everything before it can hurt her.
I have a question about the trainer though, what does the "Items" cheat do? I thought it would gimme all the items in the game but it didn't give me jack.

The item cheat locks the amount of each item you have. In other words, if you use the item cheat and use, for example, a potion, you will still have the same amount of potions as you did before using one.
The item cheat do not work though at the door that wants all your silver keys. The game will just hang.

anyone know what they added in this "expension"? im readin this guide at gamefaq for Fable (old one) and it doesn't seem to have anything new... the only thing i noticed that was added is this quest where you go kill traders and guards in that place near Oakvale.. but thats all the new stuff i found..
maybe this is not the actual retail version?

definitley not worth buying if you have the other version, just download it. Although I've heard that this game will only be $20 at release...im pretty sure it was this game. But yeah, I was also disappointed a little with how little content was added, when I read previews it sounded like there would be like at least double or more content than in the original. The lack of new armor is also a big disappointment.

Anyone know for a fact this is not a final gold version or? Most games these days are released once they appear in stores already and with the more blatant bugs it looks like not final to me.

I think you have to throw away the sword of aeons and not kill your sister. Then the guildmaster sends you to read some of Maze's books. After that you go down to the vacant grave and click the tombstone. I think you need to be good as well. Since if you were bad you'd take the sword of aeons anyways. The tears of avo-sword has like 250~ damage but it's a longsword or katana so the speed is wicked.

How much damage does the sword do that you get from killing your sister? You can get one of the strongest swords early in the game as soon as you can enter Bowerstone North though, it's something like...the Solidus Greatsword. Sold at the only shop in Bowerstone North it's like 315 damage but it's heavy. It looks like Kains sword.
