I have some problems with the ending. I'm not big fan of time travel.
Spoiler:
I recommend watching this fist for basic
Spoiler:
Imagine this i have time machine and i go 30 Second back it time and i preventing me self from entering time machine. Do we have 2 of me or one of me disappear. This game is going with there are now 2 versions of me.
There is a lot of examples for going back in time and killing your own grand father but it's stupid you only need go few second back .
What i get from the game at the end she might be killing her father from different reality.
So he can be her father or father from diffident reality or copy crated by time travel ?
In this game it's look like there are infinite numbers of realities. So she can time travel and kill her father infinite numbers of time at moment oh his baptization.
As we see in ending there is gang of those crazy girls teleporting and killing her father at time of baptization.
If they were killing they fodders they will stop to exist but we see a lot of them.
And killing him at end of his journey is kind of stupid.
She can let him go in New York and go kill satisfying number of him during baptization by traveling back in time and to different realities.
My solution two of them where bad fathers so maybe take baby version of her self and rise it ?

yea i feel the infinite universes plot device should be left alone since nobody can pull it off properly, this game neither.
Spoiler:
how come they assume that just by killing dewitt before getting baptized destroys all possibilities of any dewitt becoming compton?
since there are infinite alternative realities there is definitely one where dewitt becomes compton without getting baptized, hell there is even one where dewitt becomes batman if we are really talking about INFINITE alternative realities. the game´s handling of this concept reminds me of the funny way stargate sg-1 dealt with it: change the single thing you dont like and the future will play out exactly as you expected, not like there is an insane amount of little things that can happen which completely steer events into a different direction...

That's exactly the problem i have.
Spoiler:
Also if the Lutece twins and Elisabeth can actually see all the other possibilities, why care? If you're actually aware of all the possibilities, why even try to kill Comstock? Doesn't that mean that in certain amount of universes he's dead and in a certain he's not? So who cares?
I just can't get warm with this. Don't get me wrong, the artstyle is great and all but... dunno.. I miss the creepyness from BS1. Gameplay is even more meh than it was in BS1...
Monty Murrica's Flying Racists...
Still refreshing though. No holographic sights and shit...

Bloom and HighQuality Bloom enabled in the config by default but they have no effect on the game:
BLOOM ENABLED
...
BLOOM DISABLED
...
After the changes config was set to RO. Apparently bloom setting were hardcoded/defined during the final engine compilation.
Like in other UE3 games, it can only be disabled by disabling Depht of Field, which actually disables all post-processing effects I think. I don't recommend doing that in this game as it looks really dull like that.
I think they are going for some weird fantasy variation of the infinite realities theory. There is an infinite number of realities BUT there are certain constants that happen in ALL realities. Lutece voice logs confirm that + the coin scene. Lutece twins cannot change those but Elizabeth can (for some reason).
Man, I'm not gonna lie, playing through the game I thought I had the ending figured out, but it took my ass completely by surprise. I was confused as fuck, and I tried to pay attention to every detail in the game.
I actually had to read the gaf spoiler thread and many other ones to be able to understand fully....
also...
Spoiler:
probably already mentioned, but there was a hook in the first bioshock where you can hear the songbird in the background during a scene. In infinite it's the scene where the songbird gets pulled into rapture and drowns..... fucking MIND BLOWN

Explain one scene to me because it's out of context and might be a slip in writing.
Spoiler:
When you are leaving Battleship Bay there is a woman who addresses Elizabeth as Anna and asks her about her hair. It's not Lutece. Then Elizabeth and Booker comment about it.
So how that random person knew that Elizabeth's real name is Anna? The only people who might know it are Luteces, DeWitt and Comstock.

i also wondered about this, maybe its elizabeth´s real mother in a different reality (since obviously she has to have a mother) who remembered her name in the same way dewitt can sometimes remember things from different realities

this is a good question...
Spoiler:
someone on a diff forum mentioned that this women was a Comstock agent, simply trying to trick Elizabeth into confirming it was really her, why? Well I assume that they didn't really know what she looked like since has been locked in the tower all her life.

see that would bother me, because
Spoiler:
the woman didnt look that old, and i was under the impression that the game takes place in the future, so she would need to be as old as comstock?

Fairly certain it's another Dewitt who failed. Otherwise I doubt the writers would have chosen to put a hood over his head. And we already know there were 121 who failed before this one.
I interpret it as a provocation to tell her name, to get a response like "I'm not Annabelle, I'm <insert name here>." The group is looking for Booker and Elizabeth and they want to be sure before they start shooting.
