I hate how quickly the hero ages. I don't wanna play as an old man. Anyone found a way to become younger? I heard somewhere that at the Temple of Avo you can pay a certain amount of money to become younger, but it never worked for me on xbox.

I can't find the ghost sister of lady grey at the greyhouse. some guy told me to flash 3 times with my lamp, but this won't work...? any ideas?

damn i think this game is a beta version have many probs with it on my ati Maschine is my Resolution very tiny after the start, and on my Nvidia maschine the game is working 10 minutes or more and gos back to the desktop after that

if u explore the iceplace and necropolis there is a chest for 25 silvery keys and that gets u this archons armor, pretty kool..and also anothe rchest contains some holy helm..but...by the time i got it the game was like over..final boss is so easy..ur chjar is overpowered by then...

Should i kill Whisper or not? Even though i find here the most useless bitch ever in a c-game i dont know if i should? I have her in the arena right now where she proved to be a worthless cunt so i probably should kill herjust for that! But what are the consequences?

I am stuck at the blue mushrooms quest. I have bough one and taken that at the picnic area. One should somewhere in the pod of the guild but i can't find it. And i don't remember where was the fourth. Can someone help me please?

Guys i dont mean to stir shit but i have a strong feeling that this release is a beta/preview copy of some sorts. As you can see by examining the files yourself this build was compiled on July 15th.. long before Fable TLC went gold and suspiciously close to some game magazine preview dates. Also in a magazine i read, and the IGN preview (cant find the quote right now) they stated the preview build came on 4 CD's and clocked at about 2.7GB when installed, which is pretty much exactly what this release is. The splash screen and CD file structure are also a little amateurish but obviously nothing conclusive.
I don't know, just check out the file dates for yourself, and considering problems people are having it seems pretty suspicious to me.. didnt stop me installing it but.. you know, tell me what you think.

LOL! I wasn't going to post here. Needless to say I'm one of the people that likes this game, but this thread is just full of complaints about bugs. The only problem I have is the flashing subtitles and message box texts, and as anoying as it is, the game is still playable.
Anyway, I'm very meticulous about installing games. I have 2 drives, windows+swap is on drive 1, all my docs and games are on drive 2. As usual, during the Fable install I chose to put it in my games directory. Today I thought I'd check out the online manual and see whats all moddable. The Fable directory is there..but it was empty. I thought for a minute that I somehow uninstalled it on accident and was freaking out that I lost my saves. But the shortcut was still on my desktop. I checked the properties...that fucking installer installed the game at root level! Now I have all these game files at root making a bloddy mess (I'm a neat freak).
Well, I had a good laugh. Anyone else have a problem with the installer being stupid?

OK m8, I agree, I'm also suspicious and because of that I'll rather wait on official release date (09/20/2005) and clone of this nice game!
