I liked the finale. Especially liked the fact it wasn't as I'd expected - a huge shootout between the two groups with people dropping dead from either side. Has its unknowns, but Season 4 has to start off from somewhere.
Much less mass pew-pew.. again.. seem to be "deferring" moving the story along until Season 4 which I thought a little odd-ish but I am ok with this.
Spoiler:
Damn I liked Milton as a character but he died.. well.. muhahahh!
Was also cool to see Caesar, the Gov's right hand man, look stunned seeing the mass executions which took place. Damn that guy should join with Rick as he is soo bad ass!
Gov is now on-the-run without Woodbury and there is nothing scarier than a wounded animal.
Ah well.. fate comes to all!

Yeah but his whole name is Caesar Martinez. Guy is like Merle+Daryl in one package but more a mercenary. He is THE MAN!!! Daryl, however, is a pure survivalist which I like more myself.

I have absolutely no idea what their plan was supposed to be at the prison - and how they succeeded is even more of a mystery to me. They were up against people with some seriously heavy weapons - and yet two people behind some cover managed to hit nothing and yet drive everyone away? The heavy machine gun JAMMED? WTF?
But that's nothing compared to the brilliance of taking off for the Governor and his 20-30 soldiers when you're THREE people?!?! What exactly were they going to do?
I like the writing when it comes to characterization and it's a well produced show - but maybe they should get someone with a tiny sense of realism to consult every once in a while.

Spoiler:
Remember, a lot of the Gov's combat ready guys were killed by Merle, so he had 2 left that were worth a shit and the rest were just normal townsfolk who scattered like roaches when shit hit the fan.
This could have been fine as mid-season episode, but as finale..it was so anti-climactic
Spoiler:
It started off great, then got stale as usual. It's like a trademark of this season..wasted potential. The "assault" on the prison was embarrassing, Andrea's role turned out to be completely pointless, and the idea of dragging the guvna out for another season is plain bad imo, especially if they're gonna make another prison season
I wonder if the guvna is going to see Andrea's ghost
