I meant EA would have sold it and certainly will sell those sort of miniDLC for at least 9$
Seeing they sell deluxe content for 20€ ...

By the way, some players bought the deluxe upgrade content because they couldn't claim abandoned city by deluxe users.
The catch is, even if you upgrade your game to the deluxe version, you won't be recognized as a deluxe user by the game... hum...

Mouahahahhaah, they learnt to not buy DLC the hard way ^^

EA has done this before. With the sims they often have tie in promotional items, including cars.
Usually as pre-order DLC or part of some kind of pack of larger items. I don't think they've ever sold an individual promotional item on its own.

Also it is important to note : the benchmark is with Lightning set to low.
I must put it on low on my notebook (i3 + HD5470) in order to have decent fps, but the game looks terrible this way.

only thing which is really serverside is saving and region exchange thingy(only tells what you have extra and what you lack).

Indeed, but if you can't share resources in your region, you will enjoy the game for about some hours only.
No resource sharing mean : tiny map size game breaking issue.

Anyway they'd better wait for 1.9 and 2.0 updates to release an offline ISOdemo of this thing.
