I have to say Leon's campaign is not that bad actually. Lots of hints to old classic RE and you fight zombies and it is kind of atmospheric. Compared to Chris and his FUCK YEAH 'MURICA BRO Gears of War campaign.

Here's the problem with that, at least for me. If I am to play this, I want to play the whole game and I just can't when Chris's campaign at least is so fucking retarded. Plus, there are things that bother me and have no possibility of being different in the other campaigns (like the pretty, but utterly stupid menus for example or the AI being absolutely horrible, including bullet sponges enemies).

It should have been one and better designed game, period. It's weird. In the age of 6h campaigns, Capcom made 4 different ones in a single game that lasts ~25h. The hell?!
Why? Quality over quantity Capcom. A 8h good campaign is better than 4 poorly designed ones that last 25h.

I think it's just another example that Capcom has absolutely no idea what to do with the series. The game feels like a series of experiments with little cohesiveness.
I imagine they gathered a bunch of statisticians and industry analysts together, wrote every single trendy/profitable idea they could think of on a chalk board, then gave that chalk board to the development team and said, "Make a game with all this shit."
The QTEs in this game are some of the most inane I have ever seen. Why am I forced to use the body direction buttons to look around when Leon is trying to find the keys to the car? The mouse is already used for looking around, wouldn't it be logical to have us use that? The point of QTEs, imo, is to allow us to do things in isolated scenarios that aren't part of the normal moveset. Not have us do shit we can already do with counter-intuitive commands.
Capcom: "You want to kick that zombie in the QTE? Ha, you thought it was left mouse click because that's what it is during actual gameplay, but now we say it's E! Next time it might be Up, because screw you, that's why!"

Later on Leon's campaign shifts from RE2 atmosphere to RE4. It also introduces puzzles, of the light type like in RE4.
It's decent. A little unpolished.

The team runs into a member that was dragged away by a BOW; chris leans over the dead body to check it out -> cutscene -> chris looking sad and suddenly, in the most hurrdurr voice I have ever heard, a squadmate shouts "shit that's no way to go out!1  "
Pure comedy gold 
EDIT: add clumsy loadings that completely break any attempt of story flow...

Leon in like every single one of the 3 chapters I've played is like "yeah, this is EXACTLY like Raccoon City."

Someone managed to complete a match playing on mercenaries mode? I keep getting this "sending record data" message after the match and nothing happens.

CTRL+ Mousewheel to choose the type and equip it, but I dunno if I changed the base key (CTRL) in that combo or not
