yeah i was tad disappointed tbh.

Btw gear and vigors wise i just loved the combination of Strom+ 40% chance to restore mana on kill+ Devils Kiss(fully upgraded) against multiple enemies.

In the Asylum where ammo was scarce i just held RMB , released it when all these creeps came close and boom! iThe whole screen was on fire due to chain reaction gear and all dead in a second . Beautiful)

The "Last Battle" tbh was kinda hard for me and felt kinda "arcadish". didnt like it.

I know I said I would stay out of this thread due to possible spoilers...but...

One thing that's been bugging me and I can't seem to get an answer anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove text from the skyhook (I don't mean the skyhook control panel option in the gameplay menu) The text that says you can "attach" or the text that shows up when you want to "dismount" and jump off to the ground. Don't really need it. It shows a green glowy thing already, it's just a minor annoyance.

I turned off mouse acceleration and set the sensitiviy to zero as people suggested, it works fine.

I found a key a while back and I still didn't find anything to open with it. It was suggested to revisit areas I have been before. Does that mean I have to backtrack to search for that one safe?

To put this as gently as possible...

You'd have to be playing like a total "hurr durr, no exploring, SKIP DEM CINEMATICS" derp to have missed that first chest Razz So it wont be hard for you to find.

That doesn't work for me. I had to lower my DPI to get the correct sens.

Yeah, no... the devs went full retard with this. They put both the minimum and maximum speed values really high. Minimum was a bit too slow for me and that bothered me. In order to get the soft spot I had to vastly decrease those 2 values in the .ini that contains them since the difference between the two is also extremely huge, which means it's pretty much impossible to get what I wanted. And yes, that's without acceleration, since I generally use a really high speeed sensivity (and DPI) for my mouse, compared to pretty much everyone else. On default maximum speed I could do quite a few 360 by just moving the mouse a bit for example. The info on how to change those is on pcgamingwiki by the way.

Well, it does depend on the mouse and how it's set up.

Thanks, will take a look.

I have to laugh though, 6 years after BS1 Levine, the self proclaimed PC gamer, still can't get his team to make the mouse move like it does in every other competent UE3 game.

I agree! The first Bioshock game I managed to finish. The opening hour was really well done and immersive. It set the mood for the rest of the game. The only complaint is the difficulty level. I remember the previous 2 titles being more challenging.

Most UE3 games suck in this regard, as they assume standard desktop mice with <800 DPI. With the mice most of us have, you need a sensitivity between 0 and 1, whereas the minimum slider in 99% of all UE3 games only goes down to 1. Most also enable smoothing and all that by default Smile

If that's going to be my only problem with this game I'm fine with it, I'm used to .ini editing to make UE3 behave properly.

it offers a decent challenge on hard, you wont suffer, but you also wont run into an area full of enemies head-on and survive..

Nothing special, believe me. You easily could spot the balcony you missed on your way back to the first place wheer you used hook.

Also, this:

drops my FPS from 85 to 44. Always. I'm don'teven know what 3 or 6 such things can do. I'm scared.

No kidding

I have a Logitech G9X and normally play games at 1800-2200 dpi depending on the type. Mouse was at 2200 when i first started the game and the first time i moved the camera it did a 1800 degrees spin or something. That shit almost dazed me Laughing

I just lowered down the dpi using my mouse adjust dpi on the fly button and its OK now but i will try your suggestion since it seems to be a better solution

same here, i havn't played it again after 3-4 hours yesterday. same deal with dishonored, they are good games just don't find them engaging enough in story or difficulty to sink alot of time into them.

i might try it again near the end of the year when all the dlc is out, etc.
