(offtopic) I kinda feel for this guy. I also still hate steam, i remember the times when it was shovelware. Still feel like it is cuz i still don't use it. I kinda completly skipped the time that steam suddenly became awesome cuz i switched to 360 as main game platform But for rare times i play shooter/shooter(like) games i play on pc.
Still am disgusted by steam platform for that (and origin, GFWL and every other crap platform that is out there or in the making)

Regarding that ending...was a little mindfuck that one and you are quite on the level there.
If you watched the after credits bit,it suggests that only comstock died and booker resetted the timeline...so to speak.
The story was all about dimensions and variables which fucks your mind if you think about it too much
So, Bioshock Infinite is on the same level of quality of bioshock 1 ?
Oh yea, in terms of quality, definitely a worthy sequel. I miss Tonics and I feel there could be more Skyrail action, but that is about all the things I would like to see different.

TBH, I was infuriated when steam left beta and we were forced to play the new patch of Counter-Strike on it. But that was what? September 2003? Most people have gotten over it.
It definitely wasn't good enough cause to become a derpsole gamer over it.

Booker have a child - anna(elizabeth). He gives her away for his debts... after war, he accepts baptism and becomes comstock ? then he goes back in time (after building city) with help of lettuce twins and gets his child? but... booker did not died. Only his comstock self? the oe after baptism?
but how does he meet older his giving his doughter away through tear ?

My understanding is that; After War, didn't baptized -> becomes Comstock, driven mad over the course of time in Columbia and set in motion the events of the game as we play it.
What happened to the Player Booker; Refused baptize, lost his wife, went into heavy drink and gambling, sold Anna for debt (sold to the siblings for Comstock and the experiments). In immediate regret, just when the siblings and Comstock will be forever gone with Anna, Booker tried to get her back but in turn failed and got her finger cut off.
Then the siblings sees the result of their experiments, went back to Booker, brought him into the Comstock dimension, feed him false memories about the debt and the girl. And thus begins the game.
The entire events comes to an end when Comstock and Booker dies right when he first refused baptize, and so none of the events in the game "happens" and all is "Well" in Booker's original dimension.

Booker and Comstock are not the ones, they come from different realities. Comstock of this game was sterile. He was baptised, that is how he became Comstock. After building the city, he used the twins to create a tear into another universe where our Booker had debts and bought his child. Booker was not baptised so he remained Booker. At this point, either at an infinite loop due to Elizabeth, or Booker feeling guilt, he attempts to take his baby child and the finger is left in Booker's universe. He was then taken by the twins, now eternal beings (as was explained in vox recordings), into the Comstock universe. His mind, creates memories due to what was explained in the game of several "beings" in the same universe.
This game has served two things - one, bring me back into excitement of gaming after so long that no game has excited me, and two, probably drive me away from gaming altogether now. How do you go back to shit like Resident Evil or Tomb Raider after something like this? What an amazing accomplishment.
damn this has been such a great experience so far. Might almost go as far to say the best experience since deus ex over a decade ago. Games like this give me hope lol
game looks and runs great too! just turned on the alternative post processing and damn does it look great! made a little comparison vid comparison lowest and highest settings, not a whole lot of difference aside from texture res and shadows I guess.
I would use it but Alternate PP is just a performence rapist At least for me:( . That and ambient occlusion at anything above normal and i just take too much of a performance hit. Ultra shadows is a bit rough too but to a lesser extent.
Basically i run everything on ultra/max except alternative pp and ambient occulsion on normal. Shadows on very high. I get very solid and stable FPS with no stutters that way. It's too bad because alternative PP certainly does make the game look better. I guess my Radeon 6950 2gb is getting a bit outdated. Certainly still serve me well though
