I have some questions again:
What does the allignment for certain spells mean? Like some spells I see -25, others I see +35. What does that mean exactly?
What do the numbers in parantheses mean, you see them when you are buying or selling anything, they are some stats for the items but what do they mean?

Some spells are explicitly evil, ie. "Drain Life"... no good being (according to the morality of this game, mind you, I don't really care) would ever want to drain the life of another, that is evil (bad, sinful, this game has many words for it).
The parenthesis on ie. a weapon, ie.
Uber sword
Damage: 41 (-303)
Means that the Uber sword deals 41 damage/hit, which is 303 less damage than your current weapon does.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Ok this game was a huge letdown. Was kinda expecting Gothic in a different setting, but no luck with that. Game looks and plays ok, but the story is about as cheesy as it gets.
Thing that bugged me the most though through the game was that it is extremely linear. Just too often am I cramed into a place that can barely fit me and a mob I'm fighting and there is only one way to go most of the times. It just feels crammed and too much being pointed in the direction you have to take.

But what about the price for example, there is another number in parantheses right next to the price? So let's say apple costs 2 and then right next to it in parantheses it looks like this
2 (3)
And what happens if it shows -34 alignment for a spell and you cast it? What happens when it shows +34 alignment for a spell and you cast it?

I think it means 2 gold is what it's currently selling for, and the (3) is the actual value of it. They're selling it at a loss because they have a lot of that item in stock, or that the demand for that item is low. The game has a sort of global economy. Also, the prices will show up red or green depending on if you are overpaying (red) or getting a good deal (green).
The opposite also happens, like in platemail armor, I checked around in a couple towns and they were always selling it for a big profit because they always only had 1 or 2 pieces availiable.

Wow I hate Microsoft for sucking Nvidia's balls and screwing ATI users. I have a 9800pro and I thought I'd be able to run the game with graphics settings full. But theres absolutley no way for ATI users to have shadow quality full? If not, does it really look THAT much better?
could someone with an NVIDIA card post some screens with shadows full?

And i hate ATI users for not realising that they just have chosen a crappy brand, cant have certain graphic options, cant play certaing games good.. Lol, if you have an nVidia you can play anything on any graphic setting.

FFS, I can't believe the amount of idiots in this thread.
First you have the guys who don't have a fucking clue how to work a computer beyond mounting a virtual CD, then you have the guys who expect this game to be like morrowind or gothic, then you have the other guys who can't even work out how a simple global economy works.
These type of people should just stick to their consoles. They obviously have no idea.

That um....really doesn't help me, but I am happy for you. I wasn't trying to start a "which video card brand is better" war, and I don't really care if you feel that Nvidia is better just because you have an Nvidia card or whatever. So you win, now give yourself a pat on the back.
Anyway, I actually have another question for anyone else, ill just ask here instead of double posting, is there any sort of trainer out for this game yet? I know this game is already easy, but I already beat the xbox version, and I just wanna get money fast, but Im lazy.

reason you cannot have shaders on max in this game when using a ATI card (at present) is thats for SM3 Shaders which current cards don't support and i wouldn't worry about it too much your not missing out on too much at the moment. Still looks good on x800xtpe

This is one good game, very nice in choices for customizing your avatar, but i found some bugs so far. The game isn't short if u take all the quest cards and find all the quest given to you by the people(after 2 days and almost 10 hours i have reached almost midgame). About the bugs and exploits, sometimes the merchants running the businesses don't go to work as the morning arives, so the only solution is to brake the door to the business, then teleport away, wait a minute so that the fine will be erased then come back, and the business is open(i found this bug in one place so far, in oakvale, at the general store merchant).
Another thing, wich i consider an exploit is the buy/sell balance. With enough points in trading skill, u can buy low and sell high at the same merchant( i won't tell wich one, cause not all of them are doing this, but if u find one, u can make 50 k in less than 5 mins). This permits u to get better weapons and armour relatively early in the game, thus getting better battle multipliers, more experience, more skill points and debalancing the game even further. Of course, u may chose not to exploit this, but maybe in a future patch the ecenomy will be rethinked, not alowing to get a profit by buying and selling from the same guy.
As i found out, the best barbers and tattoists ar on the roads, not in businesses, so u'll have to travel to find them. My avatar has so far +100 attractivness and +100 scarriness from the right tattoos and facial hair alone, so the ladies are after me wherever i go and my enemies run at the sight of me (and i'm a skinny man ingame, at 34 i look like i'm 10 .
About the gameplay, the game is easy if u let it be that way, or u can make it harder by chosing boasts(i found out that if u try to do a quest naked and bare handed, it's like nightmare difficulty in most games, almost imposible to pull it trough), selecting wrong equipment for your deeds(being a good guy in an assasin uniform) and so forth. The plot line and general gameplay is like Kotor's 1 and 2(i finnished them both), chosing between good and evil, with neither one affecting u somehow. The plot twist are kinda the same, but this game is much more shorter and concentrated. Kotor had like 40h, this one has like 20h play time, with all the quests done.
About the game not running/running with problems, try without replacing the original exe with the crack. It will require the cd only at the begining, after that u can eject/unmount the cd/image.
My hardware:
2500+ Sempron
1giga Ram
Gforce 5500

Well you should be happy that us idiots support ATI or we would have a monopole on our hands. I have yet to see a game I couldn't run becaus of my ATI card, in worst cases it just demands a little more tweaking (and thats seldom).
Saying you HATE complaining ATI users is just plain stupidity Baleur.
