I had a quick go on this earlier, the AI is kinda funny, by way of an example; two guys were approaching me, one in the front of the other, the first gets swiftly and messily killed by a tree trap I'd just set, which causes the other guy to stop for a second, go "pfft, nothing here", turn around and walk away, walking over the corpse of his fallen comrade!
The graphics are indeed nice, the controls feel fine, should be quite a fun game when it comes out.

wow is all i gotta say very impressive showing from crytek
easily the best looking FPS ive seen on the xbox HLAO2 (whch ppl will obviously compare) is a pale shadow compared to this. The water reflections look amazing. The only bad thing is the AI damn these guys see you from a mile away even when ur lying prone. But i think this will for sure be a great console game

Having played FarCry through on the PC quite some time ago now, I gotta say I am impressed by this Xbox version. There arent many games that look this good in my opinion and the framerate is much nicer than I was expecting. The water is stunning but I think everyone knew it would be. Love the transition effects between being underwater and then coming upto the surface! Wow! Rolling on your back under the huts and popping a cap between the planks is sweet too! This is gonna be a good game! Cant wait!

Wow what an awesome demo (longest console demo ever??) !! What a fantastic game - it has definitely the potential to be even better than the PC game. One more reason why Ubi Soft is one of my favorite developers. Very nice work!!
It hurts to see MS releasing Xbox360 when the good old black box can still produce graphics like this.

Apparently all the AA/BF2 players.... if you want bad weapons animiations then go and play a mindless fps without any content
Maybe I like playing fps with weapons animations that are fairly Semi-realistic..in a game like farcry (Pc) having good wp animations would add a few points to the score....
AA = still the no1 fps+weapon animations out there....

i thought this rocked!! never played the pc original as my graphics card aint good enough, but if the size of the demo is anything to go by this is a massive game, and bloody good fun!!!!
