Hmm I did not enjoy Skyrim. Boring dialogues, boring NPCs, too much repetition, boring storyline. One of the games I haven't finished yet. This however is a MMO, it requires some different approach. The article might be a scam, but I have read enough interesting stuff to try it myself when open beta is there. Perhaps this applies to you:

I will say this: I went in worried and came out pretty pleased. There are new ideas here. I don’t believe that there’s a single type of person defined by the phrase ‘Elder Scrolls fan’ and I can see it working for some but not others. If your time in Skyrim was exclusively spent tooling around with emergent systems, murdering townspeople in their beds and stacking cheese wheels, then you’ll feel the absence of those things from TESO. If you’re up for something a bit more structured, then keep it on your radar.
i got curious about this and read an article on ign. this immediately put me off:

I'd have to wait until level 15 when weapon swapping unlocks.
wtf kind of gameplay mechanic is that? 'oh you are too low level to put your bow down and unsheathe your sword. youll have to practice for hours until you attain that level of mastery.'
is 'jump' or 'sidestep' going to be an unlockable in the next elder scrolls? sounds epic as fuck.
The shortened Youtu.be won't work, must be Youtube.com and the full address from that.
(I guess whatever software these forum now use for it is set to only recognize Youtube.com so we don't get all sorts of odd video material posted, probably prevents spam-bots a bit too.)
What did you expect. I would be if it were similar to Darkfall or Mortal Online. Full loot PVP, completely open world, and including the whole Map of Tamriel, and quest system. But I know the problem. They would lose around 85% of the playerbase, and would earn lot less $$$. true?
It looks awful but there's something about fantasy MMOs that appeals to me, and probably always will. I think I just love the idea of an immersive fantasy MMO, even if they are all huge letdowns
I don't think they have revealed their model yet, but there are rumors they will charge initially
If it will be p2p initially most ppl will just wait till it goes f2p, its bound to happen anyway, i know i will, i dont see the point in sub based mmos anymore.
I think b2p like GW2 would be the best option here .

Perhaps it will be free to play and you will have to wait 6 hours to heal after fight and 9 hours to have your sword repaired, or quick heal and repair with cash?
