really? thats really odd than, hmm.... well im glad it got it to work nevertheless, a big marathon for me today, hope to finish it in one day, i don't want to stop the game or shutdown pc and when i try play it again to have a big surprise lol.

As i said i don't wan't to insult the user that posted the links, i didn't and will not do that because im sure he tried to help us but in my case gave me a headache.

I downloaded from US.battlenet the game and used the en-US patch from him, gave me the missing files error, after i went..... where i mentioned above and found another en-US patch that worked.


Time to play.... FINALLY when i was about to give up So Much Win

I think it might be the case that the folder labels on those links are wrong. enUS is actually enGB and other way around.

So, for anyone about to do it, something to keep an eye out ^^

What was the other source where you got the 2.05 update from?

The black screen before mission 2 is a crack unrelated bug with the core game. It appears playing the cinematic somehow blocks. Solution is to ALT+F4 and then to start the game again, it will continue from mission 2. The issue is fixed from 2.06 I think.

I know, this is a C2D E6600 stock. HOWEVER, as I said before the game ran pretty awesome on 1.4.0, almost constantly at 60fps with the same graphics configuration. Now it gets halved. If it's because the patch, well... what can we do.

i didn't had that problem on 2.05


btw guys, i want to ask you something, does the Wings of Liberty work on this version of the game that we play Heart of the Swarm? i didn't tried it yet, i want to finish hots first and than mess, around. Any ideas? Does it work to finish the WoL campaign too?

took me like 10 hours to beat the campaign, played half in normal, half in hard (basically just wanted to finish it before it got fixed haha). Its very polished and a lot of story. Gonna support it with my money later this week Smile

if you buy Hots, you also need legit WoL, if its that what you mean.

But you should work at saying what you mean and not "hope" we will guess Smile .

i have ~30 h on brutal, with a hard campaign finished, and i've done 2/3 missions. trying to get all achievements anyway.

You need Starcraft II Wings of Libery but it doesn't have to be legit. You can use the license hack that was posted a couple of pages ago.

If you want to play online though, you need legit Starcraft II WOS and legit HOTS expansion.

yeah i really rushed through it, to get the story Smile WoL i am still only at 31% completion hehe.

Enjoyable campaign so far, probably 30% of the way through. I miss RTS games Mad Only annoyance thus far is Kerrigan's voice acting. The actress, combined with the nonexistant facial animations just make Kerrigan look and sound like a robot. Also the cheesy Blizzard dialogue, but thats a given.
