It only needs new keygen for HOTS campaign offline guest account license and nothing more. RZR is not releasing long time already. RazorDOX was still active and this could be released as DOX as it's keygen for the new patch.

Okay, but game suggested extreme & ultra settings (except textures, 768MB 460GTX here) on this new patch. Horses for courses I guess...

What CPU do you have? Your 460 GTX probably isn't the limiting factor.

Those who are experiencing some performance issues... Game is very CPU heavy, it can bring even 2500K to the knees (pretty much any CPU, atleast in multiplayer). Blizzard should really code this engine better, since it uses only 2 cores.

works my ass, got tired of even trying, i`ll just go watch a playthrough on youtube and get over it, there is no complete guide to get it working properly, either i get the "cannot load map" or find map i forgot, meh... fuck it

hmm ok, patched WOL to full HOTS 2.0.6, downloaded save files, downgraded to 2.0.5 (it shows in game left bottom corner) but every time i get "starter edition cannot be played in offline mode" error, any help?

1. Download Starcraft 2 starter edition, create free BattleNet account.
2. Once installed (2.06). Login, play the game. Create a user profile and play the first mission on the starter edition.
3. quit the game. kill internet, then play the game once more. It will attempt to connect (click on cancel as instructed on tutorial).
4. Game menu starts, but it WILL complain that you CANNOT enter the game on offline mode for starter edition.
5. Kill the game. Now launch Razor Key Generator. Wait for the wheels to display then click on F2. If done correctly, you'll see the wheel turn to: "SKID-ROW SUCKS!!". Now press escape and exit the keygen (your're done with this)
6. Launch the game again offline to confirm that razor's license generator worked. Game should now allow you to enter "OFF-LINE" mode.
7. Replace (recommend deleting and copying the downlaoded version over) the Updates and base24944 directory. The file you'll find after downloading the 2.05 downgrader proviced on this tutorial
7. Now download and copy over the gamesave file (Heart of the Swarm Campaign) also provided on this tutorial.
8. **remember after the initial login, you should've remained offline (kill the internet all this time). Now launch the game once more. It intially gave me an error, but then then tried to connect to battle.net. Now you again press the 'cancel' button and get into the game. You'll receive a message saying you're now in an "Off-line" mode.
9. Click on Campaign. Then load game. You should be able to see the Heart of the Swarm gave save. Load it.
10. Once the game loads, you can hit F10, end the game and see the beginning cinematics (if you wish).
I used the tutorial above, and all works ok untill i downgraded to 2.05 so that the game recognize the savegame file again. When i want to launch the game after the downgrade, after i click the CANCEL in that mini-window it gives me this weird error instead of launching the game, yes i DELETED the 2.06 files and put the 2.05 files, i didn't replaced them because i know it could cause an conflict. I'm not new to this things but sc2 hots, gives me an headache... meh
@remyleblau you need to follow the steps i write here dude, you need the keytro as well, maybe you get more lucky than me. I should of played the game before the 2.06 update meh... sad panda

A friend of mine got the same error as you , after 4-5 hours of trying to make the game work, he gave up deleting it, but he did played the first mission until he got a blackscreen on the 2nd one, then when he tried to run the game back, it gave him this error. If you find a fix for it, PM me pls.

@VYP3R - yeah i used keytro, still the same error. keytro shows skidrow sucks message etc but game wont let me play offline in 2.0.6 and 2.0.5 anyway (i`m offline when trying this) - everytime it says i cant play starter edition in offline mode.
btw its the same old keytro from sc2 wol right?

ffs, i was using old keytro which i found on my hdd in sc2 dir lol.
donwloaded razor sc2 1.4 update (with new keytro) and now its working, 1st mission loaded without any problems.
2.0.6 downgraded to 2.0.5

for the people having issues with missing files it's an issue with upgrading your starcraft 2 base install to fix :
- Delete the mods folder (do not empty recycle bin you'll need em later)
- Launch the updater update the game then quit the launcher
- restore the files from recycle bin and click yes on merge and no on overwrite this should restore the missing files

ok thx to all that tried to help, ok here was the problem, the files from VonMisk links are broken, well the enUS ones are broken, i dont know about the other one. I downloaded the 2.05 update from other source, entered once on 2.06 to log my account, went offline, put the update, used the 1.4 keytro, pressed F2, launched the game again, if it asks to connect to blizz hit cancel, go to task manager, end process forthe setup sc2 process, double click again the game, this time you will wait a bit untill you can hit PLAY on the launcher window, press PLAY when it enables (after 15-25 seconds), hit cancel on that mini window, the game will launch, log-in with the account, press offline, should work now because you used keytro, go to campaign, load and choose the saved heart of the swarm file and load it. Of course this implies you downloaded and put the save file in the save game location, should be something like this:
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\132571787\1-S3-1-4427922\Saves\Campaign
were those numbers should be different in your case, load the save, after it did, you can hit F10, press END and restart mission so you could watch the cinematic from start and have fun.
So.... basically i lost half my day yesterday trying to make it work with some broken files that i could not know.... meh, im saying is the guys fault but you know....

Files aren't broken (because I used enUS ones from that link and it worked). You will get that "Files are missing" error if you use GB files in US version and other way around. Sometimes its not clear which version you have so possibly that was your problem. I made the same mistake thinking my version is EU, since I'm from europe, but nope it was US.
Or the folders were labeled incorrectly.
