I find the ignore button annoying especially on tablets since if you by mistake hit it while scroll it blocks that user it should ask for confirmation

What should be fixed for accidental clicks is the "mark as read". It's practically clicked once a day on the phone. It should be "Are you sure - [yes] [no]" so you can go back.
