This Sad Though not so long, I've "only" put about 85hrs into it... absolutely loved the game and I'm actually going to be doing another play soon, go through the new mini-expansions.

Plus 100 hours, but I gave up on expansions because of the cap level.

Sry for bumping an old topic but I'm having a bit of trouble. Wanted to replay this great game but I'm having some problems with the skidrow releases. I installed the base game, 1.0.0.2 update and then the DLCs and used the crack from the latest DLC. I remember that one of the patches added a delay to using potions, however I don't have it for some reason and so I'm not sure if I installed everything correctly. Any ideas?

probalby clicked somewhere in cheat engine by accident and it saved the settings.

Dunno what it could be, try reseting cheat engine to default or doing a clean install. if you are following the exact instructions everytime before you start the game, mod should work fine.

I still hope that the former devs will release the patch that they were working on at the time of this mess...Not likely, but i'm and idiot, what can i say...

Or maybe someone will make an unofficial patch to solve at least the gamebreaking bugs.

Some of the quests I still haven't finished is due to doing events out of order, like just following the main story and this causes NPC to move around or behave differently so quests tied to them can become impossible to complete.

The main story missions should all work though and the DLC shouldn't have any problems either from what I know, just that you have to be careful about how you handle certain quests.

There's probably other issues that I've not encountered as well.

Frazier took to the Reckoning forums to apologize for the lack of a patch and explain what happened to it.

It's something we very much wanted to do, but various issues outside our control (which unfortunately I'm not at liberty to disclose) prevented us from doing so for a long time. Finally we received clearance to do a PC-only patch, which wasn't ideal (we wanted to do a patch on all platforms) but it was better than nothing.

The patch was to pack two new difficulty modes, a jazzed-up camera, bug fixes, and other gubbins. Sadly, Frazier says, "barring some sort of miracle, it is highly unlikely that any patch for Reckoning will ever see the light of day."

He added, "While I consider Reckoning a very strong game and not especially buggy, that's not the same as saying that it's perfectly balanced or bug-free, and it kills me that I'll never get the chance to correct any of its issues."
