YAY thts perfect they are exacty the same now.

before when I used the 'side by side' took a snapshot and compared in color. the same pixel had different RGB values.

Now doing that the top and bottom match pixel for pixel.
you that man!

I've never bothered to checkat all.
I hook it up fiddle with brightness and contrast so its good to my eye and run with it..long as red looks red, blue looks blue, grass looks like grass, etc.. and If I can see stuff, Doesn't really matter to me if my colors was off by a few percentage. Razz

Hell I still wouldn't care if they was, other than I was getting 2 different 'offs' and needed one to at least match the other...either way.

That's what happens when you hook crappy monitors. Laughing

Each brings a shitty profile and throws it to the mix, and if no one bothers to look and fix, it becomes a mishmash.

Hmm playing with the 'adjust monitor wizard' in the color management..Either i'm use to too bright of a monitor..or its full of shit.
After finishing it, I feel like I got a thin sheet of black silk over my screen I'm trying to see thru...
This site is no longer a baby blue, its a royal blue, my desktop is dark as hell..and the text so 'contrasty' its stabbing me in the eyes.

Going back to the default you gave me for it all and call it a day.

See im not that picky, long as when I look at stuff, or play games I don't go 'wow that looks way wrong" I don't give it any thought Razz
Like I said only reason it bugged me now isnt that one was wrong, it was that they was different..if they would have both been 'off' the same I wouldn't have cared/noticed..Laughing

The weird thing is outside photoshop is now the same as before, that didnt change..its photoshop that's no longer brownish..

Because Photoshop uses the Windows profile to draw, while Picasa uses a default sRGB. When the Windows profile is wrong, you get interesting results. Laughing

BTW, make sure to set Photoshop to use and save in sRGB, especially if you are doing web work. This way you ensure consistency between all the shit monitors.
