Just tried on a different ps3 running another version of mm, same thing. Something must have got corrupted between extracting, copying, splitting and copying a further two times!

I'm also stuck at this section on normal, I kinda agree with the reviewers, it's completely imbalanced, I'd been trying for over 2 hours, lots of attempts and no save, hp back for 20 mins> gameplay, I haven't even reached 3rd wave...the first wave of mobs are insane, I'm not a hardcore God of war fan, or claim to be a very good gamer, but been playing games for 20 years, the jump of difficulty was just too extreme for me... gotta give it to you for doing that in 3 attempts... I must be getting old.

LOL Sony is pushing out a patch to rename a trophy in the game called "Bros before Hoes" Because some people found it to be offensive.
I hope this patch somehow makes this game to be played diskless.

Meh. Didn't finish it yet but this is not over a 7/10 in my book. Gfx scale is nice but the series need a major overhaul. Let's hope for open world or something not so linear, role playing elements and revamped story. Well, clearly they must follow the Darksiders way. Nearly the middle of the game and I'm already bored.

the first wave is crucial, rest isnt as bad,
kill the cobras in the beginning as fast as you can, when the witches arrive keep blocking because of their lightning magic, forget about evading.
also keep spamming any magic attacks and items as soon as they recharge, it helps alot.
2nd wave is easier, first get rid of the flying enemies easily by grabbing them (r1) and throwing off the edge, then spam magic attacks and the other shit again against the spear users and get some attacks in, block attacks, do not evade!
last enemy of this wave is not a problem, you shouldnt get hit even once if you block properly.
3rd wave is the easiest, first enemy is a centaur, just block, attack now and then and qte him to death - after this you get around half your hp restored,
with that you should have an easy time with the last few enemies.
i gotta say, this part of the game really woke me up, difficulty-wise.
after the last few years of gaming where i could almost go through the games with closed eyes (except for dark/demons souls), this made me clench my controller and sweat like in the old snes and psx times when games used to spit on you and laugh.

Hmmm. So, I'm still unable to get to the gameplay after creating a profile and starting new game. I've tried on two different PS3s, and have also re-downloaded the files, same thing every time. Even tried removing the split files and editing the archives file and running it off an external, same problem.
I'm using Rogero 4.30 and have tried on various versions of MM. Tomb Raider and Crysis 3 both work, and other games on the internal work too. Can anyone think what could be causing my problem, or offer some alternative suggestions to try?

that right here is the problematic part. need to constantly block because of the medusas, but i also get spammed with those 3-hit mini orbital lightning strikes which force me to move, which then again ends with me getting tailswiped or whatever right after dodging.
also, which kind of magic did you use? |
i used ares, fire, throughout the whole trial, fully upgraded (it only has 2 upgrades anyway)

I just gopt this game today, put the disk in and it said download patch 1.02.
Clicked ok but the ps3 does the tripple bleep then restarts ffs.

i had the problem with the game booting me back to xmb but then i changed to the an older version of multiman and it worked with no options ticked and a bluray in drive.
