I know it's not the first PC game I ever played, but Tunnels of Armageddon in 1990 or so is the earliest I can specifically remember. Before that I remember Miner 2049er on either the Atari 2600 or 400. I still keep that Miner 2049er cartridge on my desk.

The other day I found some old magazines from CD-Rom Today and a few other old publications, and was amused by the borderline pornographic advertisements for sex hotlines, and porno BBS. Also advertisements for things like $5000 laptops -- NOW WITH 256 COLORS.

Can`t remember what was the first game, but few of the first ones were: Grand Prix Circuit, Dangerous Dave, Stunts, Test Drive 1 (had a teamwork with that one. Friend or me was driving and other one was changing shifts Very Happy), Ski Or Die.

First PC was a 386, if I remember correctly, with a 5 1⁄4-inch and a 3 1⁄2-inch floppy drives.
I had to type "win" in NC to access Windows 3.1? All that PC thing felt so damn hard and impossible back then. Ohh...good old times Smile

Wow, you guys are making me feel super young here lol. I didn't even touch a PC until '96 when I was 11 years old.

LOL to being young !!!!

...this is my first ever game on a computer.

I worked for Teradyne Corp. out of Boston in the 70s.

It was called Lunar Lander and it was as an arcade game released by Atari in 1979

I remember a similar game on the C-64. Don't recall the name though.

First game was a shitty baseball game on my cousin's commodore. The first PC game was probably Doom, but I don't remember that far back. The baseball game stuck with me since it was really shit and I didn't understand what was so fun about gaming at the time (since the game was shit).

I remember that game so well! Driving the wrong way around the track and crashing head-on into other cars was so amazing to me at the time.

This game (Red Baron/Fokker) was pretty amazing for the time too. Still have the original box somewhere:

I had a c64 since I can remember (30 now) and with it came two boxes of games my dad had acquired. I don't recall the first game I played on it but the ones I did like, who dares wins, and pit stop, river raid, beech head, international karate and a whole lot more.

As for pc, I had commander keen 1, wolf3d and captain comic(or something like that), it was a side scrolling platformer

I remember getting a sound blaster for wolf to replace the pc speaker, I use to run it through my dad's amp. Sounded so good at the time.

Little off topic but I remember my first cd game which was mad dog.
