Today my 2 phones should had been delivered, but they didn't arrive.
With status update still being "on time: today between 9am and 7pm" even at this moment..
HTC called them to find out what was going on, seems that the package is stuck at customs, it's not been released yet (tho it's odd, package is in Cologne(Germany) right now..)..
Stayed home all day for fuck all
I don't get it, a package from HTC with phones in it to the NL, nothing suspicious about it ffs...

Euro customs are retarded as hell. Some years ago I sent pmflcheese about 150 bucks worth of Flashlight gear for his work and he never got it, customs kept it.

They seem overly eager in Cologne, send a HD back RMA to WD. It got stuck for 12 days there before they released it to WD.

what i hate most, is those "between 9 am and 7 pm" time windows. So they expect me to be at home, the whole day, because they can't give me a more precise time ? Had that with DHL a couple times. Those fuckers sometimes wouldn't even ring, just put a note in the letterbox, saying i wasn't here ... while i was ...
Fuck 'em ... fuck 'em all to hell

In Poland when your parcel gets delivered by a courier he usually just phones you and asks if you're home, if not he says "I'll be there tomorrow then" or "Tell me when you'l be home" or "can i leave your parcel with your neighbor". All of these I'm perfectly fine with.

You guys have it lucky. In US for Ground Delivery. Time is between 9am-9pm...
But for past year I have been putting my house as a business and I get my packages no later than 3 pm.

If they miss you here, they put a post it note on the door saying they missed you, you can either call and have them keep it at the pick up location or just sign the piece of paper on the back and hang it back up on the door where they see it and they'll take it as your signature.

If my memory serves me right I used Areoplan to get this Macbook I'm on now. They didn't give me any time or date to receive it. They just left it at the door step? It was a wonder I even got it.

Here it's whole day delivery time too, but before it get's your turn to be delivered, the courier calls you on your mobile phone that you provided, to tell you that he's on his way, and are you on site, and if you are not, he can reschedule later for the same day, tomorrow ot leave it at a specified by you deliver office for you to pick up.

Well overnight Cologne let the package go, it's in Eindhoven now and is there cleared by customs (so why the fuck Cologne kept it there for so many days is the big question...)..
Should be on it's way atm and hopefully arrive within the next couple of hours.

UPS really stops giving a shit about your packages the later it gets in the day, they just want to get the job done and get home, still pretty shitty.
Sometimes if I know I'm not home Ill write a little note on my door that says something like "UPS please leave package at door step" and leave a signature with the tracking number, 90% of the time that works.
