Played the game for about 6 hours today - didn't have a single issue. At this point I think a lot of the nerd rage is residual from folks who haven't bought the game or are pretending every game ever made has come out of the box fully cooked.
Also that traffic video is bullshit. Who would build a road like that? "Let me build a road to ease traffic, but don't bother to close down the road trap.

Be glad people try to break the game like that and make it known. At least that approach fixes games instead of using the rose tinted glasses approach which helps noone.
Got this game today, and apparently the western european servers are all full throughout the evening. Even tho my friend who sponsored my purchase and wanted me to join in the region could login to them without a queue or anything. That was fun.
Eventually we just started something on Antarctica. It's not like I'll have some form of lag in this type of game from doing that... I hope..
Game itself was fun enough, supporting her city with ambulances and getting support with waste disposal was interesting.
Will try and see if western europe is still full before I go to bed, which usually is around 4am.

both of my cities are collapsing too, one is in constant deficit, people complain about taxes only minerals trading keeps me afloat and it provides all needs for my second town, but that got so big traffic killed it i think, my gambling income dropped so much as general income too , i wish that university students would travel.. seems that one isnt t working , well noone from education travel from city to city, everything else does.. trafic jams are insane on connecting city roads..

That's two posts in a row, despite being corrected that you have failed to follow a basic English sentence. When you get past that first grade reader, you feel to come back.
But your constant attempts to spin this failure of a game are just pointless. The game is flawed from top to bottom. You can realize it or not, but every time you or you want to log on and claim it isn't, you can be sure that someone won't be far behind to correct you.
As to the pathfinding, yes that's another huge failure of this game. What a sim!I've seen plenty of screenshots and videos where cars refuse to take the very short exit to a main a road and instead drive along some heavily congested side road to get to a destination, even when they need to get onto the big main road later. You know like 2 parallel roads where the smaller side one which is connected to zones has a few exits to the main road..yeah.. just silly. Cars should, for the most part, stay on the higher density lighter traffic roads. only jumping onto side roads when they have to.

EA Will "Look Into" Offline SimCity; New Patch Released
EA has updated SimCity to version 1.4. Meanwhile, SimCity Update #2 from Lucy has the latest from Maxis on adding server capacity, apologizing for downtime invoked as original servers are taken offline one by one as part of an upgrade process. Finally, EA's SimCity account tweets about the possibility that they will eventually remove the online requirement for the new SimCity to earn back gamer's trust following its unsuccessful launch, though this won't be right away (thanks nin). Map size: You cant build everything you want in the city no room
Terra forming: Cant even level the small amount of land? Or plant trees? No option for this makes me never want to build on anything but a plain flat map
Online required: Who gives a shit about the social online experience for a game like this? This isn't call of duty, I just want to play alone. Plus the crashes and rollbacks and cant save this to my computer. All this if you can play in the first place
Mouse pointer: Make it smaller, everytime I move the mouse to the left to select an option it scrolls the map. Fucking annoying.
Finances: I want to control education transportation and so on in the finance section like SimCity 4
