western "high" education is just grown children playing school.notable exceptions are actual scientific fields. 60 page paper filled with quotes is called a thesis these days? i wrote bigger papers in high school...

His argument was that there are people being assholes in the thread. Not that there where ONLY assholes in the thread.
Also, too not se how equality-prohibitive some of the videogame and tv tropes are you would need you head pretty far up your own ass. The problem isnt that men goes crazy when having to save women all day in a videogame. The problem is that there is an unproportional amount of female-centric tropes that both skew the view on women and also does nothing to foster and forward the development and writing of videosgames. But having said that, to just sit and point out tropes on a youtubevideo on the internet, provides no service to anyone, and I was honestly hoping for a deepdive into the issues and potential benefits of a more equalitydriven industry.
People raging over these videos more than proves her very shallow point though. Please do some thinking about how you think, perceive and treat other poeple. You don´t prove her wrong by raging in forums about how ugly she is and why she should not be doing what she is doing. You prove her right by giving her examples of where equality have thrived in the videogame industry. If you can´t find any, then maybe something needs to be done.
Doesn´t anyone else see the potential in having a more equal distribution of males and females working together to give games a deeper narrative and tackling social issues instead of all the bullshit malecentric bruhaha we get now?

Less people experience real art because of this. And then you have these self entitled artists who put up a blank canvas on a wall, who get women to pose naked, who smash a plate on the floor and then glue it to a piece of paper... and they're glorified in the media.
It's fucked up. Real art gets censored (yes music, movies, games are art) and the unimaginative art gets the praise. Disgusting. There's no room for art to grow. For it to grow it needs less and less constraints. And it's only getting more.
Too many people are getting offended over nothing.
Too many people voice their baseless opinions because they're allowed to.

I don't get why developers/directors and whatever doesn't just simply ignore their constant whining. If someone creates a game where the progenitor is set to save a beautiful princess with giant tits, what on earth can the feminists do about it? other than whine about it.

Because negative media exposure is no longer good news. It gets share holders terrified. They force the top hats to change their ideas. The idea gets changed. negative media now = less money. Less money = bad.
Back then like 15 years ago... even bad press was good press. Now it's just bad press that damaged the character. Look at TR. RAPE = CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. the shit storm after that. OH FUCK LOL.
