I don't think it will stand a chance against BioShock Infinite, but fair enough considering it's early in the year Razz

Does anyone know what would be the best weapon to upgrade first? =)

1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Well when I pirated it, I loaded the game and had about 15 fucking pop ups for DLC

My bought version... I had 2, I thought I must have been missing a lot

Guess not You Suspicious Be

The only important DLC you're missing is the DLC Tomb which is pretty fun, better than the rest of tombs. After, you get like 3-4 weapons as DLC and rest of them are Characters/Skins and Maps for Multiplayer.

did anyone managed to use a gamepad with x360ce with the game? it recognizes it ok, but i cannot seem to rearrange the controls - they are always fixed.

Please keep the "buy 360 gamepad" comments to yourselfs.

Yeah you need to generate the xinput9_1_0.dll or just rename the dll and it will work.

I think you needed to do some xinput.dll renaming... saw it 10-15 pages back, good luck Cool Face

I find the tombs very disappointing, a whole bunch of missed potential there. It seems to me like these were added afterwards just for the lulz.

http://www.pcgameshardware.de/AMD-Radeon-Hardware-255597/Tests/Tomb-Raider-PC-Grafikkarten-Benchmarks-1058878/

A overview comparing performance and various settings, it's in German but the images are fairly easy to understand. Very Happy

EDIT: Unsure if this is accurate but here's another test.

(TressFX is that demanding on "older" hardware? Unless it's Direct Compute itself which is that slow on those GPU models.)

Any word from AMD yet about TressFX not working properly with Crossfire? Neutral

It works flawlessy on crossfire @ 7xxx series tho, so its safe to say that AMD doesnt give a fuck about old cards.

Might try older drivers then, since in overclock.net someone posted screen where he got half more fps in the benchmark than me on single card. Didnt even know there is beta 7 already Very Happy Using beta 5 myself.

Well my findings are in that topic aswell, single card gives only half the fps drop then dual cards.
So clearly something wrong with calculating TressFX on 2 cards at once, if the framerate drop doubles compared to one card >.<

Beta 6 has the Tomb Raider profile Breezer_ so yeah you should update.
(I edited my above post as well with another test which shows the 6970 and 680 fairing pretty poorly with TressFX, unsure if it's accurate as I thought the 680 would do better than that.)

(TressFX is however known to bug out with SLI and maybe also Crossfire, unsure if it affects performance too but it looks pretty bad visually from what I've read, could also be affected by GPU drivers I guess.)

Yeah it does, it causes massive slowdowns that i don't have when running on 1 card.

Ah that's unfortunate, judging by the erratic physics (Somewhat floaty and there's a bit of clipping.) and blocky shadows the effect is already pretty optimized but I guess a patch along with updated GPU drivers are required to fully fix it.
(Making it look better however would probably cripple performance, AMD needs to refine it a bit more I'd guess.)

While I like the idea behind it, I can't believe devs still use a block of clay as 'hair', TressFX looks very unreal imo. I don't like it much and it takes 15fps. Just disable and forget.

Just check the guru3d topic i linked, those YT vids show the difference with single and dual cards
