yeah I gave you this advice few posts ago...

"buy artic mx4, remove your heatsink, apply mx4, mount heatsink, profit

done this few months ago after my GPU started overheating, no problems since."

So far so good.
The only thing I disliked was a lack of a proper quicksave but that really isn't the game's fault

Crouch doesn't work on the SP... or am I missing something? Confused

That's right! I noticed that too and didn't think anything of it, weird... Also the sprint button doesn't seem to actually make you sprint, just kind of do a dodge thing, it seems like she sprints all the time.

Probably asked before, but does anyone know what High Precision does?

Using 314.14 drivers, Q6600 @ 3.6 and a clocked 670, runs great with everything maxed at 1080p, with the exceptions below. Plays great with the 360 pad.

Was getting crashes to desktop, but turning off tessellation and tresseme fixed that.

Yondaim, you were asking about getting sweetfx working with tomb raider, it seems it does actually work.

Here's a link for settings someone was messing with, plus some comparisons as well. Haven't had a chance to test since I'm at work, but I'll definitely give this a shot to get some sharpening to offset FXAA.

Very nice game, high production values. I also vote that every port from this day on, should be done by Nixxes.

Was the infamous rape scene, the one before she kills a man? Was all the fuss really about that?

Yes Laughing I let the scene roll to see what happens and Laughing Laughing

I'm 48% of game, so far all areas except Shantytown are 100%, since I just reached it and did like half of collectibles. Also can't find all the Ghost Hunter things in the start area 8/10 Laughing Even with the Survival Instinct "maxed" out couldn't find them anymore, hope they weren't miss'able

Maybe they toned it down?
(I thought it was that first guy initially.)

(That other guy seemed only a bit creepy - and somewhat insane - and was more about strangling Lara or shooting her, or biting.)

Any method of adding the DLC to the first 3DM crack?

Should be doable via the .ini of the crack right?

If you didn't find all the ghost hunters in the first level then you can't say you're at 100%!

I found them all on that level (did you get the one under the bridge?) but in later levels I have 1 missing in each of them, like 1 mushroom, 1 cairn, 1 egg, then like 5 mines!. I'm sure guides will pop up in no time. I'm 98% complete though on the beach level there's a couple things I can see but have no idea how to get to them....

Did a test how much TressFX actually takes when other things are barely taxed.

Lowest settings possible (still at 1080p tho) and no TressFX:

And lowest settings possible but with TressFX:

For me atleast, on my rig with both my cards, this is pathetic from AMD.
I donno, but it seems that the DirectCompute maybe can't calulate via crossfire? and that only 1 card calculates it? (i honestly am just fishing for answers here...)
Furthermore, i noticed really annoying flashing of the hair, seens this before in the new 3D Mark and only happens when crossfire is enabled..

You can see that in "button mapping", "crouch" and "sprint" has (MP) after them. Probably means that this is some sort of HQ multiplayer feature.

Great game, I really like it. Comparing this to Uncharted, which I really liked, is meaningless since there is zero contest. This game is high above any of the Uncharted games imo. It's also one of the very few games which taxes my GPU to the limit.

Well I'm at 92% in the first area, was going to write that but forgot, now completed Shantytown with 100% tho. Yea got the one under the bridge, most of them were hanging on trees and like that, guess I took all of them. Might go on another run later for that area.

Edit: Oh well, there's a guide for them already http://www.ign.com/wikis/tomb-raider/Ghost_Hunter

That is indeed a handy guide - after completing the game and going back to do all the missions, I'd actually forgotten what the point in some of the challenges were (i.e. what it was you were looking for) and there didn't seem to be anything in the game that told you.

Going to use that and the videos that have started popping up on youtube to 100% the game, I've fully upgraded Lara and all weapons.
