Enjoyed it way more then any LOTR movie so far.

It was advertised in Poland as a movie for small kids. So parents came with kids, mainly fathers. And there was a lot of questions from these children about all the sexual innuendo in the film. In other words the embarassment of the dads was additional humor factor.

ZDT - 8.5/10

Very good overall; actors' performances, technically, etc. Some people have said it glorifies torture? No, it shows reality. The question should not be whether torture is necessary, but whether what the torture did achieve was necessary. Was killing bin Laden necessary? Did it really help America's safety? And these were pretty open in my opinion in this film.

I think you can ask the first question and not exclude the second Smile But yea I agree it wasn't a glorification of anything really

Being generous with one point tho. Dear god they made it slow and drawn out. I bet it would have been better if they just used 2 hours instead of their obsession of making it 3 hours

That being said, I was entertained!

Tangled

Was surprisingly enjoyable, but could have used a bit fewer syrupy singing scenes. Not the usual Disney movie though, as besides the princess-fairytale-sugary-sweetness it also had fairly good humor and very energetic and funny animation. That chameleon was an obvious "got to have one of those" addition, but the horse was great. Smile

Argo 9.5/10 another excellent movies by Ben Affleck, well deserved oscar.

On that note there is also similar movie based on real life event called Operacja Samum, based on Operation Simoom. Pretty sure there are english subs floating around.

I thought Argo was great. It felt a lot like a Scorsese film in many ways and general had some great acting.
