Well I can guarantee you that both crackfix and crackfix2 do not have this problem. I don't know if update1crack has it..

My brain suddenly kicked in and I remembered to try and run it without anything else running at the same time (radeonpro, steam).
It was due to radeonpro.

Finished... and shift-deleted it. Nothing memorable except for them purdy graphics. Clocked in 6 hours and a few minutes on the last-but-one difficulty. Missed a few side missions as well. Can't say I'll remember this one in a few weeks...

I do, do I? I'm pretty sure I can decide that for myself, considering they'd consider most 'benefits' to be shit like social media integration.

Cr4sis F2P on Gface with single player chapters available as micro-transactions, that's what Cevat The Greatest -according to Cevat himself- meant.
Fortunately their multiplayer experiment Warface!1 is flopping quite badly, but still, I guess their future direction is quite clear.

Cevat wants what Ubisoft does - just wait for Watch Dogs "hyperconnective singleplayer".
Meh, dont like it.
Btw I never got the hate thats continually thrown against the Crysis series, for me those were - still are - beautiful looking games with sleak gameplay and some cool cinematic moments.
I played the first one 3 times, the 2nd two times.
True, Crysis 2 got boring towards the end because it was always the same fucking enviromnents and 2 different enemy types. C3 is too short for that though - and if its the same as the other ones (I havent played it yet) then I'll get my perfect game for sure.

How so? As far as I know that's the only piece of news we know about its success or failure: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2012-11-22-warface-has-5m-russian-users
Which doesn't mean much, as this is just the number of people who have registered to play it in Russia. Hell I have.

Haha They should count the active users if they really want some proper stats, I mean the ones who haven't committed seppuku after having tried the game
I can only speak for my experience, since basically the 99% of the people that I know have found this cheap CoD rip-off with laggy controls and included wall-hack terribad and stopped playing after 20-30 minutes. But yeah, it was more like a wish than anything else.

LOL no it dont...i've tried it..it's ok but there are other mods for crysis1 that are years old that does the game better justice than this mod..its not terrible but to say it looks better than Crysis 3 makes me sick. I refuse to ay it sucks because the time this dude put into it..props to anyone helping the mod community and pc gamers extend and or enhance visuals of pc games...but its not that great and i played with it for about 1 hour...there are things he should of done different..believe me.. you will see what i mean when you use the mod in C1 and like someone else said..its either too vivid and cartoony in nature or its too drab in nature...there is no fine spot to be content with..and you gotta start all over with your saves..you dont lose your old saves but you cant use them with this mod..you gotta start all over with ths mod ..correct me if i am wrong though
Plus never judge a book by its cover..if you get what im saying, chief
Love it or hate it..>Crysis 3 is the best looking game out there to date, period and i have no crazy clue to why so many people with pretty decent hardware are having bad performance with Crysis 3...other than that first level in single player..the rest of the game gave me all mid 45's to 55's frame rates on all "very high settings" ...the only thing i turned down was AA but i do run all my games at 1440x900. At first i thought Crysis 3 was going to be an issue performance wise but turned out to be not so bad after all when talking performance..but it still could of been better optimized...as always Crytek are great with producing sweet kick ass visuals but not so great getting their engines optimized fully when they release their games...but at least out of the box besides level 1 in singler player...rest of the game looks friggen beautiful and runs very playable on mid-to-high end gear....my spec's in my sig is what im running Crysis 3 with and like i said..its all day mid 45 to 55 frame rate. I think thats acceptable with my hardware.
I dont need no uber duber high resolution...everyone is different... 1440x900 is decent enough for me.

People want native resolutions since it looks like crap when you run a game in anything but native resolution due to the resampled picture having a different original DPI than the monitor, introducing blurry effects, ugly pixellation effects and so on. It's like having a very early and bugged alpha build of FXAA on.

Pey wrote: | I dont know why so much hate. Haven´t beat the campaign, i´m about to finish it, but i see nothing wrong with it, it´s quite challenging on post-human warrior. Gameplay-wise it´s pretty standard sure, but still it´s different from most fps out there. It might not be as "open-world" -as you call it- as crysis 1, but i dont have a finger up my butt telling me when and how to do things. Maybe some people get carried away by reviews and other people´s thoughts, kinda like a placebo effect, it happens a lot these days. I´m not saying the campaign is absolutely great, but it´s not utter shit either. I dont think the overall game deserves a 7.
I know graphics don´t matter for most people, but there is a HUGE difference between playing at 1920x1080 medium details and 2560x1600 very high. It´s definitely the best looking game up to know, sometimes I even stand still just to look at the environments.
Mp is Crysis 2.1, I enjoyed c2 and and I enjoy c3 mp as well even though it´s the same thing but minor tweaks. It´s cod with nanosuits, sure, but that plus amazing graphics is more than enough for me. |
Its because the negativity sticks out like a sore thumb that is why it seems so much hate...but overall..i guarantee more will appreciate Crysis games..including Crysis 3 much more so than those that do not..its guaranteed, surely if the Crysis games truly sucked they wouldnt sell as much as it does even on the pc its one of the better selling pc games these days and i dont think we'd see much R&D being put into the third game of the series, or even a 3rd game of a series, period if it sucked so bad... Gamerankings, metacritics, etc will all prove how good Crysis 3 really is..and i guarantee it'll have overall average scores of over 8 from most review sites, if not all.
Crysis 3 to me is a visual masterpiece in my eyes. It's what we will see next gen...next gen IS now here with Crysis 3. Not saying Crysis 3 is so good looking that nothing will be able to match it..i am pretty sure some launch games on the next gen consoles will match it and maybe surpass it as far as technical side of graphics technology being used in Crysis 3...but just playing this game on all "Very High" settings truly does give it a jump over anything else out there, period.
I know that 2nd level when you first finally go outdoors in the single player..i think its called "The Fields" or what ever...i mean, holy crap!! I was just in awe at the visuals there...the water effects were just a new level of visual quality and physics...the tall grass swaying in the wind..just the overall environments of that level totally brought back that excitement i got when i played Crysis 1 for the first time..it really did produce that feeling quite easily too once i got to the 2nd level in single player of Crysis 3 "the Fields" ..again not sure if thats the name of that 2nd level but its something called like that..i havent finished the game yet but im still running into moments of jaw dropping visuals where i just gotta stop and replay that entire mission over again just to see the visuals all over again lol. The game is not perfect by any means...it has its bugs, flaws and poor moments but shit..i cant think of a perfect game..in fact i cant think of anything perfect honestly...i will say the game could be more optimized for sure, from what i hear..it should of been longer in the single player if peeps are having to pay 50 or so dollars for the game, etc but the game is still a visually stunning, pretty fun shooter with a lot of unique qualities going for it and im having fun with it..thats all that really matters to me..not what some joe schmoe is saying how shitty the game is. Keep it real ..if you dont like Crysis..you dont like it but dont overly try and make the game look worse than what it is..because then your just being a punk about it.
Like i said...haters will be haters...some are just always disgruntled junkies..others simply just dont really dig the Crysis series so there for there is much bias in their comments but always remember this..as i said..negativity sticks out like a sore thumb...ever been to a rock'n party and some drunk ass punk comes in and crashes the party by picking a fight with someone getting all belligerent with someone..when the party was rolling smoothly and everyone was having a good old time and this oen guy ruins it all? Haters or just negativity in general have that same effect...it sticks out the most in your memory because negativity sticks out like a sore thumb.
I will say it again....take what you hear in these forums as a grain of salt from those that are hating on the game, bashing the game,etc...
There are a lot of good games that i simply do not care for..but because i love gaming in general..i refuse to go into specific game forums and bash a game i dislike...just because it may happen to be a RPG which i honestly cannot stand playing RPG's..if that RPG happens to be a genuinely great RPG game...than hey...its a great game but i just dont happen to like that kind of game...but im "mature" enough to still give the game respect because gamers are enjoying it...and i'll support that no matter what....
The world we live in today are full of schmucks and immature peeps that have been raised spoiled rotten and weren't taught how to be respectful towards others and frankly...it's quite easy to spout off gibberish behind a dinky monitor...it's a super easy way for punks to talk shit without repercussions like getting the taste slapped out their mouth for their stupidity. hehe

Well, I don't think anyone is denying Crysis 3 looks very good.
It's just that when you consider the amount of money spent on it - and how good the first game was - it's really quite tragic how pathetically weak it is in terms of gameplay.
It's like spending 60 million dollars on a hooker only to discover you're in bed with a 75 year old toothless bag with a dozen layers of DX11 make-up.

Huh? An option to output any resolution pixel-to-pixel on your monitor without any scailing was around in both NVIDIA and ATI drivers for ages. It was one of the first things I turned on after upgrading from CRT to TFT monitor a long time ago.

I am about to replay first Crysis. I do like playing games vanilla way but I do think Crysis1 had some "must have" mods right ?
Wasnt there a config or a fix for blur and some distance pom textures ?

When a game's prime feature is "it looks great!", it's not a very great game. That's just my opinion though.

I didn't know one could change the physical density of pixels in a monitor.
