Found a program 'setupfolder 1' under programs so uninstaled that, see what happens now.
EDIT: It's reloaded's crysis 3 installer. It fails to install and instead installs this crap everytime. Has no one else come across this? |
When you say it fails to install, do you mean you click on the installer and nothing happens or do you get the reloaded install menu (select language ect..) and it fails at a certain percentage of installing ?

you get the installer, but it throws out an error message, when you try to install. something like "the file "C:\Users\urnamehere\AppData\Local\Temp\IXP001.TMP\installerdata.xml" could not be found.
"
And when you try to install you get:
"Extracting game files
The System can`t find file ***(somenamehere)"
Well :/ I have to admit, I didn`t test it in a sandbox (an installer from a group i trust, downloaded from a source i trusted :/). Did right now. This thing installs itself, even in a sandbox. So you know at least which files and changes were done.

Ok I have this install but I have been holding off installing it because of the bitcoin file.
If I install it via sandbox, what folder/files do I need to look for to know if my version is infected?

Well if you have the Reloaded release in .rar format, you could get the .sfv file from a trusted source, like a private torrent tracker where people haven't mentioned any problems in the comments and use a program to check the CRC32 checksums. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_file_verification
