Nope. It's the same behavior in every game that triggers the adaptive vsync. A microstutter of sort. |

Did you limit your framerate as well? I'm using adaptive vsync + framerate capped @ 60 and no stutter/microstutters at all.

How do you cap? There is adaptive vsync+half which caps to 30 but fuck that.

which of the games exactly have real 3d... arkham asylum perhaps / but only nvidia wise support for ati is not that great, again i have to force it trough tridef

Yeah I'm not using that "half" crap either. There's an engine cvar for the capping: sys_MaxFps

If you want to play on 3D, nvidia is way to go. All Nvidia 3D vision games are awesome, real stereo 3D. I cant play on 3D tho, gets to my head too easily (had 3D setup when i had 570 SLI). Movies is fine tho.

still, tridef can run almost any game i 3d, and to me skyrim lokks pretty cool, also AC3 ofcourse AC3 with 3d is a slideshow

Same, my yarr spirit flows more than usual lately (I blame the crisis, the one with the i  ).
I partially fixed my performance problems reducing the Object and Shadows settings, since those really destroy my 570. With them on medium, the rest on High and the FXAA enabled, I can play without the frequent slowdowns...sort of |
