And Jonah Hill for a supporting role? Are You Serious

Comment above notwithstanding, have you actually seen Moneyball? His performance was very good.

I have. And his appearance was passable. An exaggerated nomination. The only good performance was Pitt's.

The field is much wider open than last year, but if I was betting I would go for:

Film: Les Miserables or Zero Dark Thirty
Actor: Daniel Day Lewis
Actress: Jessica Chastain
Sup. Actor: Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Sup. Actress: Anne Hathaway
Screenplay: Mark Boal (Zero Dark Thirty)
Adapted Screenplay: Tony Kushner (Lincoln)

I really have no idea about Best Director, but it is most likely between Ang Lee and Spielberg.

It was a decent movie, though. However, I don't think it deserves any place among these awards. There was nothing that shone, nothing that could stand above the other contenders.

Lincoln deserves only two of its nominations - the ones of Daniel and Sally. Movie of the year, director of the year - nah...

Wow that Best Picture competition looks wild his year.

Also, from what I hear D.D. lewis and Sally Field should easily win their respective competitions.

Daniel Day Lewis will win best male actor, the only living actor that has anything on him is Gary Oldman, and he ain't even nominated.

I haven't had the pleasure yet to see much from Sir Laurence Olivier, but to me Daniel Day Lewis might be the best actor ever.

Wish he'd go more Ricky Gervais on them, but then again the umerikans can't take the offensive humour and it'll just ruin the mood Razz
