What's wrong with the final boss? Does the crackfix resolve whatever the issue is with it?

Optimization is big shit. Game uses ~60% CPU and 35-40% GPU. And runs like shit.

And keep in mind when applying the crackfix you should restart the level from the beginning.

Since you live in a rich country it will be nice if you could donate me some 690GTX gpu? Razz

Rich country?
Even so, i'm by far not rich...
Just saying that there are quite cheap GPU's that can run DX11..

First level has performance issues. It's the most heavy level of the entire game.

Really? It ran fine for me in the first level. It was more than playable most of the time. It's pretty much unplayable in the second level though.

But I am in the interior area. There is nothing that should be taking performance. It runs like complete shit on a 680 GTX and uses no CPU and GPU.

What specs you have for "fine". Maybe we have different ideas of "fine" for the specs we have in our computers.

Well that's my experience, plus what maldo posted, plus based on what some posters on neogaf said.

For me the first level almost made my computer explode. Shocked

The performance seems to be completely random to be honest, some parts run pretty great, others (like the first level for me) are barely playable even with the details on medium. At least it looks good enough to make us forget the not-so-perfect optimization Razz (still much more optimized than the first one, but that goes without saying Laughing)

For me the second level (train yard, dense grass) has been the worst performance wise so far. The first one ran like a dream in comparison. Also I thought it was my cpu holding back my gpu for the first time in Crysis 3, but I've seen an increasingly number of people mentioning those gpu% usage dips. They were horrible in that second level and later on they're not so frequent, but in some particular areas they reappear.

Apart from the fps drops that I have in the whole game, it ran at 40-60 fps in that level, apart from the beginning which was 30-40. I think it's also known that my PC is not that good, so it's to be expected. However, it's unplayable even on low in the second mission, even though apparently it's not as taxing as the first one.

Also, as I said before, what MaLDo found out isn't limited just to those ropes I think. From what I see when I play the game on my PC, it seems to be a problem with phisics in general.

Can you guys just confirm which version you downloaded and installed, as i am having some weird issues as not been able to even install the game!

I downloaded: Crysis.3.INTERNAL-RELOADED

Upon launching their installer, it fails immediately with file not found.

And it installs this on my machine! http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=81954

No matter where you are in the first level, there is performance issues. There is some bug with the physics props and shit which halves fps and GPU isnt used nearly at all. Just tried myself 2nd level again, getting 90%+ GPU usage all the times.

The last boss is immortal. He never enters the vulnerable phase where his tentacles glow yellow and you can blow them off.

With the crackfix.

I'm enjoying this game. It runs pretty well for me aswell with most things on high and the top 3 options on very high. Get no less than high 40's but for the most part 60 and up on a single 680.
