I forgot to post it but it has been confirmed Nixxes is doing the PC port.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
And they've ported every Tomb Raider since Legends. But I had made a post "why have they not confirmed this yet?" and I just remembered that very recently I found confirmation, but I forgot to post it, until now.

This game doesn't seem half bad actually, will definetly give this a try when it comes out. ^_^
This is a sure ISO demo download for me. Last game I pirated was COD Black Ops II. I want to play this just for the lulz of comparing it to Tomb Raider Anniversary & Company
Hopefully it won't take nearly as long to crack this as it seems to be taking them to crack Crysis 3
it surely looks great and all but they made the tombs optional , now its all about surviving ,all they ever showed was how to survive. now the title is definitely misleading..
I don't see any real survival though. The scripted mission structure means you will find tools you need to survive during missions or as a mission objective. The survival here is still very much the classic gaming custom of not dying and having to reload saves, but also a focal point of the story and themes, not actual gameplay mechanics. This is not sandbox survival, which is what I wanted.
I will be the first one to admit that I was wrong and that the game is actually pretty good if it ever comes to that. But, for that to happen, the game would have to be the total opposite of what has been shown so far in the countless trailers, including this latest one! I mean, well, at least in this latest trailer we get to see for the first time ever, in exclusive world premiere, the first few... eh... 4-5 seconds of apparent platforming/tomb raiding? It just blows my mind! #whoa_keanu.

I think that the whole concept of "survival" is being used here as buzzword to generate more interest since like you said the game has definitely a precise structure which isn't exactly free. Maybe it will be something like, let's say Darksiders, linear but with some kind of freedom left. The only puzzles seem to be based on the "use rope/set stuff on fire" though, but I guess they didn't want to break the pace since everything in this one is action-oriented. Oh well, at least the stealth approach is a nice addition if the AI is well-done.
I like what I've seen so far, but if there's really going to be any focus on open-world, environmental puzzles and exploration, they should start showing this. At least in the next episode of this mini-series. The release date is close now and I don't want to be left under the impression the above elements I mentioned will be out of the game. I'm optimistic they won't be.

Exactly, everything we've seen so far was very linear and scripted.
If you look at it like that, every FPS in history is survival against enemy NPCs
Far Cry 3 was more survival than what's shown here.

Well the type of game I was hoping for when the teaser first released was a sandbox survival. Kind of like that NDS series. There are plenty danger on the island, and you need to survive by exploring for food sources, new materials to craft better and better tools ie. wooden spear upgrade to 1 with stone spearhead. The more different natural resources you find, the better of a shelter you can have, which means you are safer, more cosy, etc. But getting deeper and deeper into the island, the riskier things get as the distant between your shelter is further, the more food, tools, first aid you'll need to survive outside. Then you'll need tools to make makeshift bed as you can't fast travel and going back means losing progress.
Also there's nothing survival about Farcry 3. They give you that feeling during the opening mission, then it turns into a very gamey game. Just hunt to upgrade, gather to maintain enough potions, then just go do the missions or roam.
I want your game
But to be honest, I don't think Tomb Raider ever had the ambition to go that far into the survival theme as what you were hoping for. I'll look up that trailer again!
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
i am so glad devs & publishers are finding a way to turn every property they own into grimdark 3rd person cover shooters, i mean think of the kids they gotta feed.
