Its a great game, no doubt. But seriously, 7 chapters?! No wonder why its so short then... im on 6/7 now. Just started chapter 6, so will save the two last chapters till tomorrow.
2. Yeah, iv completed the two other Crysis games. The gfx might be slightly better than in Crysis 2, but IMO they pushed the envelope on that one. The models look as good as they can in a 360 game. At.... hmm, lets hope its 720p. The game is screaming for AA tho, but for that we would need to wait for the next gen consoles
Yeah there are way too many jaggies and textures are just bad. Worse than Crysis 2 PS3 (I played Crysis 2 on PS3 only, and Crysis 3 now for 360)
Lighting is quite good, and grass moves when you interact with it, not like Far Cry 3.
No framerate issues though. And explosion effects are terrible too. Saw blocky smoke in 2nd level. I will have to wait for PC version it seems.
Just completed it, id say its 6 hours long. But it really depends on your playing style. If you play on soldier+ you either stay hidden or you die in some parts :/

Do you remember where you went in the swamp level?
You have a secondary objective to hack a big ceth.
I followed the waypoint but it points to a building with a closed door.
Could it be a bug? (PS3 Version)

They are quite similar, but for some reason I liked the 2nd one more. It might be because I feel Crysis have played its part. But don't get me wrong, its a great game. And if a person who never tried Crysis 1 or 2 tried the 3rd they would most likely love it.
I tried to play stealth all the way, but ended up COD still after awhile, and that was a real challenge towards the end :/ Didnt do all the side quests, just some.

The side-misisons are they big , small? all levels have side-missions?
the side missions are more like another checkpoint on the map with something there. Nothing really big. I do really like this game, its well polished and gfx are awesome for console. Cant wait to see what it looks like on my PC. I try to play stealth most of the time.
