Looking at achievements -
''Becoming a Lightning God'' 50G - Complete story mode on Revengeance difficulty with all S rankings.
The game has few secret achievements, which requies to beat some of the bosses on Hard, without taking any damage. :0

(first)Monsoon was pretty damn hard to kill... at least without any repair/health kits.

question to people who know a lot about this game and MGS lore: does this game spoil the main MGS series? i have some MGS games to play and don't want them spoiled.

I don't remember seeing any story references to the other games.
You have quite a bit of information about the war/economy changes made in mgs4, but I wouldn't call that spoilers.

I think I can beat sam without taking damage but the others... probably not.

so you guys recommend on playing on hard? i started on normal cuz i remember gettin beat up pretty bad in the demo but thats only cuz i didnt know about takein nano from enemies. now im kicking ass on normal and thinking about switching to hard

Is there anyway in the game to block attacks...?
Or do you just need to time the "Parry" action right...?
Seems like I'm getting hit with stuff and losing health when the character should be blocking.
I'm still getting use to the controllers and I'm using Layout C. I noticed there are four to choose from and I normally chose the default the game selects for me, in this case Configuration C.

Might want to mention which ones you need to play. If you played MGS4 then you should be fine as this takes place after that one so familiar characters appear.

Bahh. Not my kind of game. So animeish. I did give it a shot though. Got as far as the second time you fight the Metal gear and the fight lasts for fucking 20 minutes +/-. Died at 20% and that was it.

You can "parry" ahead of time to get into a block stance.
It lasts around 3 seconds.

If you take out the cut scenes, this one is VERY short. I completed it in less than 4 hours... didnt really believe it myself, but thats what the timer said when I finished it. Played on Normal btw.

stats are bullshit. It says 5h 30min for me but it took me 13 hours without listening to all optional codecs, vr missions and not playing full on h&s like a DmC game.

Stats don't take into account retries or cutscenes. Just best game time, start to finish of a chapter.

The japanese style in this game is far from anime/manga looking... well in my opinion anyway. And even tho you think so id think all the blood and dismemberment would make up for it 
Can't fucking figure it out lol
