Man.... Gearbox have made it feel like DNF version of UE2.5 engine...
The terrible no reaction ragdolls, Bad shooting and animations.
It is just dull (looks like. Not played myself yet)

Played it, its not as bad as one would think reading the boards online.
But everything about it is mediocre or poor, the execution sucks overall.
So what you are saying overall its below average? A 3 or a 4? Thats the average score its getting it might be as bad as the online community makes it out to be
Despite its great premise and its unsurpassable setting for a FPS (practically every FPS since Wolfenstein 3D steals from Alien & Aliens), all I can say after an hour playing it at a steady 60FPS is
The Aliens are somehow faster and less dumb in Hardened difficulty and the gameplay became bearable. But still the animation is clunky and in open areas you can get out of enemies' AI range so they just stand there and wait until you shoot them down.
The graphics are subpar, the animations are abysmal. In close range the Aliens teleport into close combat - press "V" qte which is fucking anticlimactic. And there is "acid blood effect" - it just stops you from regenerating health for about 15 seconds.
