regarding twinsectors highstuff is right. you can clone it using external tool and mount as virtual drive

VERY VERY OLD TAGES FLT and IMS did - not the newer ones - and for that external tool try to use it on ECHO uk Smile no work as i said it has more then 1 + 1 twinsectors. Virtual CD 7 doesnt create a working image of Echo anymore.

Old Tages to FLt times was like 4 dumps in different game situation and you could rebuild exe. Asterix f.e. you need like 50 dumps. Echo 50 still gives you not even a quarter of the decrypt exe Sad.

Lovely, Armadillo as used in apps is incredibly strong.

Main issue with games really is that performance is a lot more of an issue than with applications, so if using a virtual machine, pseudo-code, obfuscation, you need to balance strength and efficiency.

Is it more along the lines of a SR7 protection though, lots of CRCs and code block checking, etc?

french version of the game has been cracked...
Secret.of.the.Lost.Cavern.FRENCH.PROPER

three files patched !!!!
ijl15.dll, SoLC.exe, spr.dll

seems the new Tages didn't last long Wink

Hope the english version gets released soon. Couldnt care less if they use the french cracks as long as they work

thats kinda wierd Smile ijl15.dll is NOT PROTECTED so why replace? Smile
and as far as i know (probably only guessing by my french friend becaus eh dont have the release anywhere) its just unprotected demo files which are for:

ijl15.dll = byte ident to retail
SoLC.exe = missing data to finish the game after demo quests
spr.dll = codeident to protected retail one

I dont have this release nor does my french friend have it on a scene site. All he had was a moncul release (Au.Coeur.De.Lascaux.FRENCH.ISO-MONCUL) in/cue of the 2 Cds without removing protection. Also there is no crack of it on the public crackstore sites like gc*, megaga*** etc so i dont think the crack exist for real. Lets just wait As exe, dll are byteident in french protected and uk protected Echo it would work with all languages i guess so the grp that released it could have released it too as english.

Lets wait and see and if it is for real maybe ul it to a public crack store site.

I checked it out. Apparently, the french crack is the same as the one contained on CD2 of Deviance's release.
