i actually haven't played dreamfall at all yet, but i've been playing longest journey for the first time over the winter and it's already my favorite adventure game ever
it doesn't take much convincing to support continuation
i kind of wish they wouldn't make the characters too hot
strength of character is too easily distracted by sexiness
though i'm all for beauty

You know, now I don't really care if the so called "kickstarter fatigue" actually does kick in at some point (probably won't until there are people that want quality games). This is probably the last game I wanted to see a sequel of and it's happenning...it's really happenning!
I think the concept of empowering customers by letting them speak with their wallets about the types of games they want (ie not cod clone #353) has lasting appeal so long as the games industry is the way it is.
I think there will always be a place for crowd funding good projects that aren't necessarily things publishers want these days. As opposed to the 5 minute brainstorm cash in ideas we've seen come and go. The kickstarter crowd seems pretty wise to that bullshit though, like todd hall kickstarting random shit, the super duper revolutionary in ways we can't tell you because we haven't thought of them yet Wildmans, Molyneux, etc
Only question now is regarding stretch goals. In 30 days I see this making 3 million with a good campaign. Perhaps they underappreciated the love and dedication towards this franchise.
I think the long time off might have contributed to the love and dedication we see today. Nevertheless i'm absolutely thrilled and can't wait. Too bad it's a long wait still.
