Just played a bit with Ali's crack, version 2. Works and saves everything flawlessly.

Expected a bit more from the Impossible mode in terms of item rarity. Even on that difficulty there seem to be plenty of ammo and medkits. At least, the enemies are satisfactorily deadly and fast.

The game runs too fast with V-sync disabled, so your card is at 100% load. I get like 150fps on everything maxed out at 2560x1440 if Vsync off Very Happy

Use a framelimiter.

Changing your System Region Time/Date into Format: English (United States) should temporarily do the job, before someone finds a better way. Razz

Try with the nvidiainspector or MSI afterburner, they both have a limiter

Why do people need tools to limit framerate? Can't you force 60 fps vsync with nvidia cp like AMD can do in CCC? Neutral

Hehe yes, but sometimes limiting the framerate with an external program gives better results, at least in my case. Take Darksiders 2 and Skyrim for example, if I force vsync through the cp there's some microstuttering that ain't present when using Afterburner. I don't know the reason why it happens, but it's a good solution. Razz

Finished it, took me 10 hours, 2 minutes.

Ending was so-so.

How many chapters? Is there a hardcore option like in Dead Space 2?

There are 19 chapters (20 if you include prologue). Hardcore/permadeath is one of the new game+ options.

My GPU also gets hotter then it used to be. BF3 runs at 54/55 degrees and this game at 58 degrees.

Somehow this game is getting kind of shitty for my taste. The guys who like to record "I broke..." videos will have easy task with this one. It looks ok if this was the first installment in the series. Lack of physics make body parts flying around or get stuck for your feet after stomp. Bodies explode after few hits (or better say disintegrate in few parts) like they are made of clay. It is not a bug it is a feature. No improvements in term of gameplay or atmosphere, animations. Same old formula and engine recycled and packed again. But that is normal for these days, look at the movies (LOTR 1,2,3,4,5,6; Spiderman 1,2,3, reboot 1,2,3; Batman 1,2,3,4,5,6 reboot 1,2,3; Transformers 1,2,3,...; )

We definitely live in the age of sequels (or better say recycling)!
