Quake 4 will hopefully rock. That game you are already on a alien planet. Not like in Doom3. You come from some Medeival past and then right to the future... you know Doom2 - Doom3

Fear, Quake Wars, Fahrenheit(though not a fps but what a gameplay), Serious Sam 2, Duke Nukem Forever, HL2: Aftermath, DOD: Source, Quake 4, UT2007, The Suffering 2, El Matador, and Land of the Dead: Road to Village Green

It's already been mentioned in a post above but I think Prey looks excellent from the movies i've seen. It's one im eagerly awaiting the release of.
