make sure you switch to profile "aa" when loading new .rap files through reactpsn.
then switch back to your normal account to install pkgs.

I install reactpsn, create the aa profile, log in with that one and start reactpsn, the PS3 reboots and the profilename is changed. After that I install the pkgs. It seems easy enough. When I start the game though, I am asked to open PSN store and after opening it it bitches about copyright. I think reactpsn is not working for me for some reason.

go to devhdd0/home/0000x (your profile) and see if you have an act.dat file there.
if not, you need to login to psn first and go to account management and "activate".
then leech anything from ps store (i got gt5 corvette which was only a few kbs), the content should say activating and then you will have an act.dat file in your profile.
after that you just do exactly what you did and it will work.

Heh, all of this is exactly why I went with rebug instead of rogero. Don't need to do any of that online activation bullshit with rebug.

Activate system is enough to generate a proper act.dat. No need to dl/ anything off the store that needs activation.

Anyone having trouble with reactpsn can use the fix .pkg available from ps3iso. Works fine.

Ah finally, thanks for that. The cracked pkg was my last resort, but I didn't know where to look for it. It works now, I couldn't get reactpsn working.

why not? it's really simple to get reactpsn working and it's universal solution not just for one game.

when you unlock the dlc familiars, you get special tickets in your bag, you have to give these to the supreme sage of the temple in the desert to receive the familiars.

You need both.
edit: I've played an hour I think, and it's a long cutscene. So when does the actual gameplay kick in?

Sorry me again. Looks like the psnstuff game and dlc aren't compatible with each other. The dlc works with the duplex version apparently though. Apart from downloading a differentvversion of the game does anyone know how to get the familiars?

I see this game gets praise everywhere, but how on earth is a game where you play a bunch of toddlers in a cartoon universe even remotely fun? Mind you, i haven't seen any gameplay trailers, just speculating from the screenshots i've seen.

I've played it for three hours, I don't see anything but an average jRPG tbh. I don't understand what's so special about it.

This. It's such a pity... it seems they can make a game with great mechanics, depth and strategy, and then throw it all away by choosing this setting. I love jRPGs which allow you to even remotely connect with the characters (Lost Odyssey or Final Fantasy)... but I don't think I'll ever be able to enjoy playing as a 10-year old or w/e.

Both settings are shit. But you can relate, and a bit biased if you were to review it, but i can't blame you.
