Anyone recommend a pet over the others? Think I'll try the Fire elemental (looks cool!) & that horned combat magic animal (2250 gold or so to buy). Getting bored with my human characters - is it a stupid idea just to have 1 human char & 4 pets?

Oh and 1 question, i dont see any room in that network but i see few ppls in lobby, does it need 1.2 or im doing something wrong ?

finaly got this game..... about fucking time took bleeding forever.
anyways anyone have any suggestions on main characters to make or does it not really matter.

I find 2 melee fighters up front - 1 dual wield & the other double-handed weapon master, 1 nature mage & 1 combat mage behind works great. Almost all monsters target the combat mage 1st. Both mages can summon 1 monster so you end up with 6 char's. In veteran mode a ranger is very good although I think you're meant to get a pet at this stage

Huh? Can you elaborate. I'm confused. If I patched to v2.1, I don't have the v2.0 exe anymore. After I get over that hurdle, you want me to copy a header from a new game running v2.0 exe to the save game from v2.0 that cannot run in v2.1??? How do one go about copying a header from one save to the next? Restart game with v2.1 or v2.0???? I don't see select start game on the menu? Do you mean select new game? Under which version v2.1 or v2.0 EXE?
At this point, I'm thoroughly confused.

You don't need the patch. All it does is fix two issues with gamespy.

Energy Orb 3 x 2 chars + ice elemntals freeze thing = pwn3d ... that and that arrow that shoots like 2000% damage in a straight line of enemies when dealing with that chase the prophet quest

ok, so i have all three mysterious set pieces and i also have the tablet the ??? guy drops. where do i get the chant to activate the tablet?

wow im still playing and I got that tablet too.. just now and I forgot all about it. Im guessing you just chant the chant in any incantation shrine.. hit J and look under lore and it will show you the chant. .. i wonder what it does...

Also RLD hasnt removed a check in the 2.1 exe, hence why your saved games dont show.
So bad crack.

If the mysterious one, then remember the chant is backwards on the stone.

that person is an idiot who reviewed it, think there too obsessed with wow to give a proper review of a game since there compareing wow to this..like eesh. and obviously they need a better video card if they think the graphics is date..its very very detailed throughout the game.

That does nothing for me. Do you need to have all of the set pieces? I only have the tablet and the book.

Its a secret quest, not primary or secondary..
You found the bucket thats good.
Now you need the book and the amulet.
The chant for the secret area is
columnarius sectorus
Its on the mysterious teleport stone you get from the little thief who teleports in sometimes.
Once you have got, look at it in your lore section (J) and its the very last object.
