I liked the demo, but same as DmC, I guess because I expected the games to be real shit, I was surprised to see it was much better than my expectations.
You can see they tried to put quality in this game and didn't rush it, they worked their ass off, and usually this is a mark of a good game.
Will definitely leech the full version. The cutscenes are also REALLY nice considering it's not even developed by the MGS team, they are really similar which is a good point (unless you are allergic to MGS cutscenes).
Finally, the PS3 version (dunno about XBOX) runs at 60fps, and isn't aliased like hell, it looks really nice for a multiplatform game. I think both versions run at 60fps, but considering the game is quite nice to look at, 60fps is very welcome for this kind of game, even MGS 4 barely handles 30fps.
Here's the finalized beauty shot of the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Limited Edition, complete with steelbook, soundtrack and High Frequency Blade plasma lamp!
And something else
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced a free DLC pack that will accompany European versions of its METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE title for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360®.
The game will be released on February 21st/22nd, and KONAMI has announced that every copy will include a free DLC code to unlock a custom Cyborg Ninja body for use in the game. Based on the design of the hugely popular character Gray Fox from the original METAL GEAR SOLID, the Cyborg Ninja DLC not only allows users to assume the guise of the popular character, but it also allows them to use and upgrade his powerful FOX BLADE within METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE.
I don't normally pre-order stuff but I did this so I could get that lamp.
I just hope my pre-order price holds true and doesn't adjust.
M$ pulled this adjustment when Halo 3 came with the helmet in the Legendary Box.
They allowed pre-orders at $100 but jacked the price up before the game launched.
since among all the multiplatform games only 4 performed better on ps3 than 360, statistically the chances of this game running better on ps3 are less than 1 to 100
The DLC will be available for PS3 users in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Japan. The PS3 exclusivity is only for North America. Thanks for your question.

lol, sometimes ps3 version drops down to 50 fps while x360 maintains 60 and vice versa, overall framerate wise the 360 version is only slightly ahead, but has tearing which ps3 version doesnt and also significantly worse video quality.
i guess this time its ps3 version time for a chance
unless i start getting freezes every hour like in many other ps3 games nowadays
So... I haven't played any MGS games other than the original on playstation... will I be able to follow the plot of this? I know kojima games usually are more cutscene than game...
