Opera 12: It looks like the first one and if you compare em in photoshop, it's basically the first one just with a little bit more detail (noticeable at the tip of the nose)

That's the point. If it looks similar to the first, it means the browser supports color management, and reads the embedded profile in the image and maps the original colors to the monitor colors. Very important when having a monitor that has a different than the the usual sRGB gamut. It is not as important on sRGB monitors, because most of the web has sRGB-profiled images, but not always.
