Is the single player any good? Or is it like Lost Planet 2 where they sacrificed/fucked up the single player in order to make it enjoyable in co-op??

I like this series, but what I've seen of this one doesn't convince me much...

The demo had a proper single player campaign. Actually to me, it seemed the game campaign was done for single player first then ported for coop support than the other way round. The coop mode seemed dodgy to me when I tried it on PSN, because a real guy is a playing a character that isn't supposed to be helping you every time, nor be with you every time...

Same for the cutscenes, the game tries to make you see the same cutscenes from both consoles, even though you are supposed to experience a different experience from what you can see from the other player...

Not really, but new weapons are useful Wink Of course weapons can be upgraded too. If you played DS2 you will get one of the weapons in DS3 Very Happy

You need both discs for single player campaign... the first 5 chapters are on disc 1 and the rest are on disc 2.

Just play the first game and think like it is new.

All 3 games look exactly the same and play almost the same
