Different, yes. Bad, I don't see why.. there's nothing extraordinary good or bad about his looks.

very intense, i enjoyed it... to bad it was too short, but definitively playing on ng+ on son of sparda mode.

Seems the Unreal Engine utility (Viewer mostly.) is already compatible with this game, despite that entire sequence being pre-rendered they actually did include a naked Dante model. Razz

Save games are located at:
C:\ProgramData\Steam\RLD!\220440

Btw, if anyone doesn't like Dante's normal look then just use the DLC skins to use classic style, problem solved Smile

I'm OK with cheats as long as they're being applied in SP games. Everyone's free to play their game how they want it.

excuse me?,i think you haven't read my previous posts from this thread...

i already BOUGHT the game for PS3 and got the PLATINUM TROPHY for it...and my intentions for using a savegame for the PC version's "ISO DEMO" are obvious

1.+60FPS
2.I'm making a Video Walkthrough Recordin for YOUTUBE....
3.I prefer having it all ready and maxed out to make the guide more faster and interesting and stylish

Problem?..

With the three initial difficulties you can just pick whichever and complete the game, even on Huma difficulty it'll unlock "Son of Sparda" which is meant to be quite a bit tougher.
(Stronger mobs of enemies appearing earlier, different balance of mobs and such.)

After that comes two special modes called Heaven and Heaven where everything (Including the player.) dies in one hit and then Hell and Hell where enemies are as normal but the player dies in one hit.

Then comes the Bloody Palace extras which has something like 999 floors getting progressively harder (Previous game had warps though so you could advance fairly quickly but it also made it much more difficulty.), unsure if you choose a difficulty level at all, it's a DLC in this installment so it's not available yet but should be out in a few days or when it was.
(29th?)

interesting, but dieng on one hit it's a stupid option, as not even Demon/Dark Souls don't use that, its cheap and stupid

I never attempted it in the earlier games since I would likely never manage to complete it, I'm unsure when it was actually added to the franchise but I believe these have been in the series since at least Devil May Cry 3 though changed a bit. Smile
(Heaven and Heaven sounds like you just need to land the first blow and be careful around groups of enemies, Hell and Hell would likely need a different approach.)

Heaven and Heaven sounds ok, like "how far you get" because they die in one hit and need to be cautious. Yea i remember in dmc4 having tons of modes but i was never into that, i like to play on normal or hard games and try to find/upgrade as much as i can on my own and thats about it ^^

I'm half way into Son of Sparda. The difficulty of it feels like Devil Hunter (or was it Demon Hunter?) mode of the previous titles. Enemies finally do a decent amount of damage, but all in all, if you are a veteran in this series, Son of Sparda will only be what Nephelim should have been.

Couldn't resist and finally tried this game earlier this afternoon, what can I say..if you can bear the cheesy lines and look a-la CR7 it's not that terrible. Laughing

It has great production values and both the graphics and audio (except for some wub wub tracks) are above the average, as well as the performance, always solid. I'm not a fan of the gameplay though, so I'll probably end up shift-deleting this quite soon unless it radically changes and keeps me hooked through the end. Razz

Yeah that sequence was one of the best in the game. Smile
(Though I was a bit tired of the usual Limbo world by then so maybe that's why, heh.)

Also for being a AMD title there doesn't seem to be a DMC-DevilMayCry.exe profile anywhere in the drivers (13.2) though they do cover some other recent titles like Path of Exile.
(13.1 removed a DevilGame.exe profile and this game seems to be called DevilGame but the config files and such so that was probably the developer profile they used in that build.)

Game doesn't need a profile, runs like a hot knife thru butter on solid 60 fps at 1440p without any sign of microstutter or other things usually plagues AMD titles, scaling is properly aswell, getting above 90% usage on both cards.

Is there a way to import our own songs in this one or the file structure does not allow it? I remember easily importing songs in the pc version of DMC4.

+1 I´m on mission 11 atm, can´t say i dislike any aspect of the game. Combat, traversal, graphics, music, even the childish dialogs such "fuck you" made me laugh, some people take the game too seriously. Story is well narrated too, it´s a great start for those like me who only played the crappy dmc3 port and dmc4 and didnt have a clue of the 2 first games.
