Where do I put the two pkg files for the PSN release in order to install it from the internal drive? Smile Just in the gamez folder?

wherever you want. then go to multiman file manager, navigate to your PKG files and double click and they will be mounted for installation.

you need to use reactpsn with the rap file to activate it for your account.
most likely a pkg crack will show up soon, but its cleaner to do it yourself with a rap file
so you can update it later like any other game, with a pkg cracked psn game its not possible - every update undoes the crack.

I ended up trying the DUPLEX version and well, fuck this shit.

It froze my PS3 to the point I had to switch it off using the power switch on the back of the console, because it wouldn't power down using the power button on the front. And the thing is, it wouldn't power on after. Not trough the power button nor trough the controller.

I had to switch it off and on several times using the power switch for it to finally power on with the front power button.

So unless a fix or a PSN version comes out, since I don't want to mess around with ReActPSN and such, I won't be playing this game because I prefer to have my PS3 on a working condition.

In another words: this version of the game is a console breaker in all the bad ways. Plus with the reported issues concerning the HDD I advice anyone thinking about playing it to avoid it unless you're OK with it possibly ruining either your console or HDD.

My opinion may seem harsh, but after witnessing my PS3 almost dying (it was refusing to power on) I feel entitled to it.

Just like a PC ATX box, you can hard power down the PS3 by just holding the POWER button for a while (about 10sec) to force it to shut down.

The fact your PS3 would have trouble turning on / off has probably nothing to do with the game itself. It does make the ps3 freeze, but turning it off shouldn't give you a hard time to turn it on.

You seem to have a FAT PS3 since you have "that button", I would start worrying about it Razz

PSN version is out and it seems to work fine, I've played it for 5-6 hours now and no issues at all, the duplex however gave me issues every 10-40 minutes.

Above tutorials posted by me should work fine. Use PSNstuff to get it and then follow the guides.

I meant a cracked PSN release of the game because I really don't want to mess around with ReActPSN and other stuff like you guys did.

But hey, maybe it if doesn't comes out I'll just have to do it.

I know that, and that's exactly the problem. The game froze the PS3 to the point that even after pressing the button for a long time it refused to power down, so I was forced to resort to the power switch.

Now, powering on yeah that has probably nothing to do with the game, directly that is. Indirectly it has, since it was the game that prompted the situation.

And what do you mean with the worrying? The console is fine, the problem is the game (the pirate version of it that is) that has this freezing issues.

I mean that since you are having trouble turning on your PS3, freeze or not, then you should worry. It shouldn't happen.

Since I debug a lot on my PS3, I can tell you I made it freeze endless time, and NEVER EVER, I had issues to reboot it.

Please someone correct me if Ni No Kuni made this very same issue Smile

Oh, I got it. Since it never happened to me before (not being able to power it on) I think you can imagine how freaked out I found myself to be.

Either way, now it powers up normally without any issues whatsoever, so fingers crossed that it never happens again.

Hopefully :/ I think a friend of mine got the very same issue once, but the ps3 itself wouldn't have any issue after being finally ON.

That was on a fat 80gb

Mine is also a fat 80GB model. :/

-----------

Anyway, I'm this close to install the PSN version and to use ReActPSN.
You guys attest by this method? No problems if done right? No side effects whatsoever besides having to keep that extra profile?
