You don't get it, do you...
It's not about who is using what from who, but about giving credit for using other people their shit.
There is no shame in them taking others people work, aslong as they still credit them for their work.

Finished most of the Torque content, those repeating quests will probably have to remain in the log forever since they can't be completed but otherwise it was pretty good.
Maybe because Gearbox outsourced of DLC creation it feels a bit different, TrypTech are credited for doing Hammerlock (In the ending credits.) but I don't remember whom were behind the other two.
Still it'll be interesting to see how they plan to finalize the season DLC content with this fourth pack.
(Unless they do a second season but I guess they'll keep to smaller content and patches only if even that, we'll see.)
... I still want to blow up that H shaped orbital space station...

New Borderlands 2 Heads and Skins Available
Head back to Pandora to deck your characters out with awesome new looks -- 2K and Gearbox Software are thrilled to announce that new heads and skins are coming for all of the playable characters in Borderlands 2 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC!
A total of 15 new customizations sets will be available beginning today*, spanning three themes: Domination, Madness, and Supremacy. Each set includes a head and skin for one particular character class, with each set priced individually at 80 Microsoft Points / USD $0.99 / GBP £0.75 / EUR 0,99 €.
Check out the sinister “Madness” themed sets for each character below:
Also available is the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, a great offer that includes four campaign content add-ons (Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, and the upcoming fourth campaign add-on) for 2400 Microsoft Points / USD $29.99 / GBP £19.99 / EUR 29,99 € -- a savings of 25% over buying each add-on individually. The above head and skin sets are not included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.

Anyone else having problems getting the DLC to work? I installed Skidrow's release, applied the patch, installed the DLC and copied the crack over like the nfo states and created a firewall rule to block the executable from making any connections. When I go into the Downloadable Content submenu from the main menu I get an error message that the downloadable content cannot be enumerated.
Windows 7 Pro 64bit, for what it's worth and the problem occurs with either of the DLC bundles Skidrow has put out thus far.

That's normal, just load your save and you should see the new locations in fast travel menu.

Hmm. I haven't actually started a game yet because I wanted to make sure the DLC worked and I figured if it wasn't showing in the menu then it wasnt working. Interesting, I'll have to check that out, thanks.

first playthrough here. wondering when should i go for the dlc's?
are they all scaling to whatever level i am? also, dont want to be overpowered by the endgame, so maybe keep dlc's for after?
a short explanation would be awsome.

right, so as it looks to me now (level 22) if i keep doing every sidequest in maingame and the DLC quests im gonna be overpowered by the endgame.
im allready a couple of levels above each area im getting to.
think ill keep those DLC's till after main quest.

That was the case in the first game as well, the game really isn't designed for completionists. The only thing they did add was when you go into a new area, it scales the enemies to your current level... but then that's fixed after the first time.
So if you want to play a bit more loosely and just run ahead to new areas to explore or whatever, that also becomes a bad idea since you level up so fast, an entire new zone that you may have just entered earlier to have a look is now completely underlevelled for you when you return.
From my experience with BL1, you have to pretty much stick with the main quest only and ignore side quests if you want the levelling to be more or less "right", otherwise it gets too easy.

Well from my experience, generally if you were 1 level or more below a boss/tough enemy = you're dead. If you were the same level as boss = dead. If you were 1 level above boss, very slim chance of surviving. 2 levels above and you'll absolutely piss through the boss like it was nothing. Doing all the side quests almost guarantees you to be at least 2 levels above the main quests which makes the bulk of the game too easy.
A few friends of mine and I played and decided on our 2nd run through to completely ignore side quests that time round as we found the game too easy before.
I think you may have misunderstood my point about exploration, I too like to wander and discover/explore, however this game almost punishes you for it because it sets the difficulty level of an area to when you first enter it. Therefore subsequent revisits, when you're supposed to go there for a main quest, are trivially easy because you entered the area an hour ago when you were 5 levels lower.
I guess in the one hand you have this kind of world difficulty scaling and on the other, you have Oblivion/Skyrim where the world constantly levels with you. The former, things become way too easy very quickly (especially if you explore areas you're not meant to be in yet) and for the latter, it doesn't really feel like you're levelling at all.
A difficult one to balance I suppose.

Yes, even if I don't generally agree with the way you see it, I do agree with this particular point. If they set the difficulty level only after receiving the related main story quest or something would be much much better. I don't know if that's as easy as it sounds to implement correctly without breaking balance though.

forcing it with amd does nothing and fxaa barely smoothes anything

I used the SMAA injector and it worked fine.

Just put the 4 files for DX9 into the same folder as the borderlands2.exe.
