Kinect will seriously revolutionarize gaming, soon you dont even need to use controller to play. Instead, you just eat hamburgers on the sofa and control it with voice. In Dead Space 3, all you need is "STASIS" "EXECUTE"
I've watched some gameplay videos from the 360 demo, it's basically an action-adventure a-la Lost Planet with weapon customization, stasis and big ass bosses every now and then. Oh well, not a surprise heh.
I don't mind the open spaces, but for this particular series the more closed environments are part of its charm. Hope the haunting and sombre atmosphere is also preserved here.
I'd hate to say this but I think this game is going to get HORRIBLE reviews from IGN/Gamespot. This game definitely looks shittier then the first two. Its like they didn't even bother try in this one.

I watched Jesse and Dodger's video and the demo actually looked exactly like some of the footage from Lost Planet 3. Now take Dead Space 1 and Lost Planet 1 and you'll see they are miles away from each other. You just couldn't compare them because of the difference between them. Someone mentioned this before with Tomb Raider and Resident Evil I think. Now, I'm actually excited about LP3, but this is really sad when it's happening. So many franchises are becoming copies of each other these days. Also, while I only played the first one for a bit and only tried the second one to be greeted by the same fucking problem I had with the first game, I do like the first one at least. I'm currently watching Jesse's LP series of it. The third one looks quite bad, I must say. It seems to work like any TPS, not like a survival game.
The problem is, the Dead Space series turned into Lost Planet, instead of the other way around.

Survival games sadly are a thing of the past, kids these days don't have the patience to tolerate minutes of atmospheric silence spent trying to find a key or a way to get rid of a particular obstacle/puzzle without shooting. They need guns, big guns, and big monsters too otherwise it would be so boring. What can we do.
Just watched a demo playthrough and it looks so bad. These days there's not much difference between games like Dead Space, Resident Evil or Mass Effect.
This will end up taking a dump in their faces. I don't often have faith in humanity, but i do suspect there will be a shitstorm heading the devs way after the release of this game.
I'll just use a trainer to get whatever weird uncommon materials they want you to purchase.

You are stealing the game. Just because you own the disk or downloading the files on your HDD, does not give you the legal right to unlock content. After all, you just buy license to the content.
