somehow,I still think lvl0 keys are useful at someway for future PS3,after all,they are opening the console even further,they won't help us directly hacking newest consoles,but what about new exploits?

Try in Recovery mode maybe (but doubt it will change). If you do try, make sure you remove any bluray disc (game or video) in your bluray drive please !

I personally used this one: 4.30CFW Rogero v2.05 noob friendly Installation tutorial, just last month. I did it step by step and it worked for me.
And just to be sure:
You do have the files in the USB stick in this folder structure?:
//PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
In all caps? The USB stick was formatted in FAT32 with the default allocation size? You sure you don't have a disk inside the console? And that you have no internet available to the PS3? And you're inserting the USB stick in the most right USB port? And don't forget to dehash it if you haven't before.

I was thinking about buying PS3 lately, but I am really not well informed about piracy on it. I saw couple of second hand models that have Blu-Ray reader problems. Sellers say that console works good, but doesn't read discs. Does that affects playing games on them?

Some games require to be launched with an original disk inside the PS3 (and so, the Blu-Ray drive must be operable). But with certain CFWs, this requirement is gone if I'm not mistaken.

With rebug you can semi emulate a bluray drive, but it's dirty, and rely on a mini CEX2DEX. So you still need to have a usb stick plugged in 24/7 to emulate a bluray.
Better than nothing though.
Also other draw back of that mini cex2dex is you lose PS2 Classics support if you care.
Otherwise, yeah, you can play all games discless that way.
