Flash suppressor has no effect on aimed accuracy as far as I know... it actually helps you aim, since you will see what you are shooting at more clearly and suffer less recoil Razz

I seem to be better off without it either way

Is Battlefield 3 working without any problems or issues on Windows 8 Pro in terms of performance ?

Also, what about "Armored Core", is it only multi player or it has single player mode as well, and do I need to have battlefield 3 instaled in order to play it ?

Please let me know.

BF3's single player is a sorry slap on. I would rather have it no single player of any kind, that way people who only play SP wouldn't get bad impression about the game.

Same here, just that the Nvidia drivers have been crap lately, still running the 306.97 since the new ones either give me worse performance or just crash for some reason. Sad

Updated to the latest ones last week. Ask Sniffty how those have been working out for me (Win7 though) Rolling Eyes

The second it starts doing that I'm returning the fucker Very Happy

No, game just crashes at least once every match, freezes at random times. That's aside from the retarded Aero popup and it randomly blanking out my secondary monitor when it feels like it (but that's standard on Nvidia; except now it does it mid-game out of the blue as well).

Hmm, I guess they fixed that blanking out the other monitor in windows 8 (as with the aero pop-up) then because I haven't had either since I started running win8.

But yeah, the random crashes and freezes is also something I experienced with the 310.70 drivers.

I can't believe nvidia has got to this point where their drivers are so bad that they're actually causing more problems than solving.

call me lucker or whatever, but i had zero crashes with 310.70 and 310.90, now to think of it, i don't remember BF3 ever crashing for me on my current setup. seems like some ppl are extremely unlucky and experience every single bug

Nvidia's monitor management has always been shit. I've had more than 1 monitor for so long now and on Nvidia it's always been an issue..or well, an annoyance. It's just annoying to see my second monitor go black, I usually have TS and such up on it so I don't need any in-game overlay nonsense.

The past few driver revisions have been exceptionally bad on all other fronts though :/
