Of course it is. It's Fairlight's DOX division. But it's a rare presence in our days.

Crashed for me with update 3 only. Had to install update 1 and then reapply update 3 to make it work.

Slingshot pack has some extra missions IF you start a new campaign.

There is MOD warspace extension 1.50 fixed for pirated version, but WSE 1.50 is very old version.
Is there also solution for WSE 1.71?

Is there a way to 1) See how many scientists you have and 2) Skip days or can that only be done through the mission room scanning for missions?

Ok so I'm a little confused here. When I have an alien in sight, on the right hand side where the red heads pop up show me a %. That's my % chance to hit them right? But when I click on them and I get that info screen it's a complete different number.

Info from PAX: it's coming to iPad. Apparently no info about some bigger expansion, guess they are busy with Civ5: Brave New World.

the fact that they gave it away for free with preorder , means the sales where not that good and they try to increase ownership so dlc can be milked fitting more their predicted sales numbers.

YES, thank you Sin!

The so far released DLC is pretty much a joke. It brings nothing at all to the game so don't worry about starting the game without it.

Interesting read I think http://www.pcgamesn.com/julian-gollop-credited-firaxis-saving-day-xcom-and-fixed-troubled-franchise

Quote:
One of the more interesting talks I saw at GDC was X-COM creator Julian Gollop’s postmortem of his strategy masterpiece, twenty years after the fact. Far from sounding a triumphant note, Gollop described a nightmarish development cycle that differed only in scale from modern AAA projects, and then a series of disastrous attempts by himself and different publishers to recapture the magic of the original X-COM. Toward the end, he credited Firaxis with “saving the day” for the troubled franchise and setting Gollop free from his own struggling efforts to recreate the the 1994 classic.

Just to think that the classic we cherish today was sort of a mismanaged failure in the eyes of it's creator. Sort of. Smile

Been playing this game almost everyday for the past 3 weeks. AWESOME game.

Any recommendations for other RTS games similar to this in regards to:

-Turn based
-Not too simple, not too complicated
-Nice array of upgrade choices along the way?

Any time-era or theme will work for me btw.
