The impossible - 7/10 - Crazy stuff to watch tsunami wipe out families. Film was not perfect, seemed unpolished (weird sound effects, timing, etc), but overall a recommended watch.

Killing Them Softy (2012) - 3/10

An incredibly generic and entirely predictable gangster film that tries to elevate itself by humanizing its characters. The problem with that is that the characters end up being exactly what you expect them to be.

Killing them softly - 3/5

Slow start, the first 40 mins or so are just bland. But when the big guns enter the story, the scenes with gandolfini and brad pitt are very well done and the acting draws you in. Its a real treat to see gandolfini do a semi tony soprano character.
I loved the ending quote by brad pitt where he says that america isnt a country, its a business. Now wheres my fuckin' money.
Shame the film is so short and as stated above the first 40 mins or so are just bland and boring. Could've been a real masterpiece.

Also on a sidenote I really loved how they portrayed the "new organized crime" as more of a corporate enterprise, they're really afraid of getting their hands dirty so everything has to be approved and the bureaucracy is just as complicated as most corporations. I thought that was pretty funny and a stark contrast to the maffioso of old. Though it might not be like this in reality it was still interesting.

too lazy to use numbers, so instead i shall use my words to express my thoughts, opinions, feelings and so on and so forth.

finally got around to watching the raid. enjoyed it. perhaps not quite as epic as i was hoping when i first saw the trailer, but still very enjoyable

hotel transylvania... how the fuck this film got such a high rating on imdb ill never know. granted i chuckled once or twice, but it was just... nothing special, really. and its not even the subject matter that put me off... i mean tangled had the same themes of a girl decieved about the world outside, wanting to escape and explore, love, etc... and it was fucking epic. this... its got steve buscemi in it for fucks sake, what right did it have to be so... blah... blah blah blah.

and aaallways these animated films ending on a shitty fucking gay ass musical number, its so routine you know its coming because all these films HAVE to have one at the end by law or some shit... its one of the shittiest movie trends in existence. wouldnt bother me if it was a good song or well handled, but its so fucking torturously embarrassing, my head tried to sink down into my neck while it was happening, it was so bad.

In a joking sense, sure. But there are small developments, but way too little for 4 movies. And the way the movies are set up now, i don't see how they can ever do anything more for this series.

Yeah the series is QUITE Q-U-I-T-E GHEY (!!!!!) and its pretty much the poster child of why I "procure" all things everywhere especially Movies and TV. Man the series is comical now.

Only way to do the 5th one now for next October/November is now use a film crew or TV media being involved alongside military forces as they start combating these Demon/Witch Covens which are now overtaking cities (as noted in the last part of the 4th).

I can't see this being about a family taking hidden video anymore now: the monster is out of the box when it reached this grand scale.

Personally, so fcuking sick of this series where the Daemonic Entities just play us as puppets. Its time to go downtown and a*s-rape them Hellions!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

Killing them softly - 0/10

Tarantino-wannabe movie with all the cast to make a big hit with the worst uninteresting script and the most cliché (I mean 80'ies shit B action movies) characters.

But then again I love watching movies with low expectations, so thanks Smile

If you keep your expectations low you might end up not disliking it (like I did). Razz It's completely different from his previous film, this one's very rough, almost noir-ish and..anti-thriller.
